6 What We Accomplished in Setting Up Base Camp. During the school year, we focused our priorities on setting up base camp for the 2020 Plan work to follow. This year we Created a K-12 College Readiness Framework that outlines the mindsets, skills, and college knowledge necessary for students to thrive in college and beyond, Collected best practices for Elementary Math teachers and determined the necessary resources required to give all students the math skills they need to be college-ready, Redefined the secondary literacy instruction that students at KIPP Austin will receive in order to successfully go to and through college, Defined teaching excellence at KIPP Austin and created a career pathway that develops growing teachers and rewards great teaching, Evaluated our Student Information System and Performance Management System to ensure we are meeting the needs of a data-driven culture, and Refined the role of schools and school leadership teams to support excellent teaching in every classroom.
