2 DETAILED PROGRAM Day 01: Departure from Home Depart from home and take your preferable airline to Zanzibar International Airport. Zanzibar s Abeid Amani Karume International Airport hosts international airlines such as Kenya Airways (KQ) and Ethiopian Airlines (ET) Otherwise, you might opt to fly to Dar es Salaam International Airport and connect to a domestic schedule flight to Zanzibar and the options are many. Dar es Salaam International airport hosts international airlines such as KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL) code sharing with Air France (AF), Qatar Airways (QR), Turkish Airlines (TK), Ethiopian Airlines (ET) Kenya Airways (KQ) and several domestic and regional flights. Clients from United States and Canada are advised to take KLM Dutch Airlines (KL) as it code shares with Delta (DL) for earning the frequent flier miles. Alternatively, Qatar Airways (QR) could be the cheapest option), and in some destinations, Ethiopian Airlines (ET) is ideal. KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL), code sharing with Air France (AF) has daily flights from Amsterdam to Dar es Salaam International Airport. This would be an easiest connection from Europe. Ethiopian Airlines (ET) and Qatar Airways (QR) could be the cheapest option in both destinations. Clients from South America are advised to take KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL) code sharing with Air France (AF), Qatar Airways (QR), Turkish Airlines (TK), and Ethiopian Airlines (ET). Clients from the Middle East and Asia are advised to take Qatar Airways (QR), Ethiopian Airlines (ET), and Emirates Airlines (EK) 2

3 Day 01: Arrival Zanzibar Depart from home city with your preferable airline. Please advice if we can also work on the flights. On arrival at Zanzibar International Airport, Shades of Green representatives will be at hand to assist; we will seek admissions for our lead representative to the visa lobby, who will assist with paying visa fees. The visa fee currently is US$ 50 per person AND US$ 100 per person for United States citizens. Visas are obtainable on arrival at the airport however, yellow fever vaccination cards are required for clients originating or transiting through yellow fever endemic countries. Most countries in South America and Africa are endemic. After going through customs and immigration formalities, we depart for our hotel located in the beautiful beach of Nungwi, northern most tip of Zanzibar. (One hour road transfer) Luggage to move ahead with vans and pre checked in rooms, as clients are transferred to hotel using 18 to 20-seater coaches. On arrival at hotel, cold towels and welcome drinks will be served as check-in proceeds. Check in at the hospitality desk and collect the keys for the pre registered rooms. 4 Day 02: Day at leisure in Zanzibar You will spend the whole day at leisure enjoying the sea breeze. Accommodation at Hideaway of Nungwi Resort & Spa is booked on all inclusive basis that entail and runs as follows: Breakfast, lunch and dinner at The Aqua Restaurant. Soft drinks, house wine, local beer, juices, water, tea, coffee served at the Aqua restaurant.
