When I go to the store, I pay for things with. I pay my barber after he cuts my hair. Some kids get/earn when they work cleaning the yard. Would the barber give me money after he cut my hair? When someone gives you five dollars for mowing the lawn, is that money? When you buy food at the store and give the clerk quarters and dollar bills, are you giving the clerk money? When I look at our daily schedule I see that we are going to the library. My plans for after school are to go to the bookstore and buy new books for our class. People use cell phones and computers to talk to others. If I asked you what you just ate for lunch, would you describe what you ate today? If we were going to describe something that happened during the summer, would we be describing what we did today? What are you doing today after school? Tell your neighbor. Say, Today after school I

If you gave a game to your friend, are you providing a service to someone? When you eat in the cafeteria, does the cafeteria worker provide services to you? Think of some service that you and your family use. You might say, "One service my family uses is having someone fix our car when it is broken." Tell your neighbor, "One service my family uses is."
