2 AM was born from the desire of few people, who lived in the knife-world since many years, to organize an exposition, following the principles of quality and relax. The bases on which it is founded are designed to make the show an important meeting point in the International knife-making world. The universal spirit of AM will show the best of the knife-making art all around the world, gathering all the enthusiasts in alternate years and in locations which are best suited for such an exhibition. A skilled and experienced team will choose every two years the most deserving and talented exponents of the knife-world, organizing a show dedicated to them; everything is managed by KNIWAM sas, an official knives reseller and event planner in the full compliance with the Italian laws. AM has set the goal to position itself as a reference point for all the enthusiasts, not only for the high quality of the knives but also for the innovative format, linked to a frame of cultural and culinary events: All the AM events will show cultural aspects of the host city and nation, but also alternative forms of art beyond knife-making. The purpose is to make these events a reason of fun and culture also for knife-makers and collectors families and their guests. AM events are not simply a moment of pure business, but they also offer the possibility to escape, to enjoy with the family places chosen for their beauty and for the opportunities they offer. Top quality and professionalism are the key words of the show, they are closely linked to a few but clear behavioural norms that every participant should respect to make the event an unforgettable experience. 2

4 September 25th, Thursday Welcome guests at: Corso Umberto Primo, STRESA (VB) - Italy Overlooking the banks of Lago Maggiore, in the centre of Stresa and facing the Borromee Islands, REGINA PALACE HOTEL is a fine example of the italian liberty style. The city of STRESA was founded in 998 a.c. and like other towns on the lake it benefits from spectacular views as well as areas of historical and architectural interest; the city offers several heterogeneous areas: the city center, located on the coast, but also 3 islands and the Mottarone mountain (1491 meters above sea level). All these places are easily accessible by different transportations, a great occasion to extend the holiday, before or after the show. The city of Stresa is 60KM from the International Airport of Milano Malpensa, 100KM from the city centre of Milan and 40KM from Switzerland, with the city of Locarno reachable by ferry. The transportation from / to the International airport of Milano Malpensa to / from the hotel is offered by the organization (previous notice of the arrival times). 6:00 PM Official welcome to all the guests Cocktail party in the century-old park of the hotel, where the environment is enriched by artificial lakes and aquatic plants, and the air is enhanced by the fragrances of a rose garden. 4

5 September 26th, Friday 10:00 AM Guided visit by ferry to the Borromeo Gulf, composed by 3 islands, one islet and a reef: The islet and the reef Called Castles of Cannero because of the ruins of medieval fortifications. Island dei pescatori The only Island which is permanently inhabited by a small community of almost 200 people. Island Madre and Island Bella Called Sisters Islands, during the course of the centuries they were owned by Borromeo Family, historically one of the most powerful and influential families of Italy; The islands are famous all over Europe for the palaces and gardens which contains more than 2000 different plants species; on the Island Madre there s also a big variety of free birds from the east, like white peacocks, golden pheasants and parrots. NOON Lunch at the restaurant on one of the islands to taste the typical food of the place and enjoy the view of the lake sides. 4:00 PM End of the guided tour and return to the hotel, with the possibility to use: the swimming pools one indoor and heated, the other one outdoor the jacuzzi cave, the multi-sensory showers, the sauna, the Turkish bath, the gym or the tennis fields (all these activity are free for the guests), beauty treatments are chargeable. Free evening, to take a walk in the town of Stresa, which offers everything you need to spend moments of relax and fun. 5
