1 SHAH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ORGANIZES RISING SPIRIT COMPETITION INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN RISING SPIRIT INTER SCHOOL COMPETITIONS th July 2014 Respected Ma am/sir Once again it is a pleasure and privilege to invite the multi skilled and adept scholars of your venerated institution to our school to participate in the Rising Spirit, a cornucopia of literary and cultural competitions, the annual saga of interschool competitions to be held in the school premises on 1 August 2014, i.e. Friday. These competitions are held every year to hone the intrinsic and latent abilities in pupils and demonstrate their inherent talents and diverse faculties. We are looking forward to an enthusiastic and whole hearted participation from your school. The details of the competitions are enclosed for your perusal. Please fill in and send the confirmation form attached herewith before 25 th July Entries sent after 25 th July will not be accepted. Any changes in names of participants should be intimated 2 days prior to the concerned coordinators. 2 GENERAL RULES:- 1. All participating schools to reach by 8.30 am. 2. No spot registration allowed. 3. Registration confirmation to be produced. (Please ensure receipt of confirmation prior to the day of the competition) 4. The decision of the judges will be final and binding. 5. School identity not to be disclosed (Dress code: white uniform for categories 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 & 8) 6. For any queries, kindly contact respective coordinators after 2.00 pm POETIC MAGIC (English Recitation) Classes: I II Number of participants: 2 Time allowed: 1 1/2 mins (including introduction to the poem). Hand gestures or actions not allowed. Memory Pronunciation Confidence and Expression CONTACT: - MS. JYOTI KUMAR ( ) RELIVE THE CHARACTER (English Character Enactment) Each participant to enact a character from the works of well-known English authors or playwrights. Classes: VIII IX No. of participants: 2 Time allowed 2 1/2-3 mins (including introduction) Costumes and props to be used and arranged by the respective participating schools.
