Staff will be geared toward YOUR generation, your needs, your dreams. Next Gen Korea travelers will see Korea through a new lens. They will take in a 4D movie Korean style, eat chicken at a baseball game (no hotdogs there!), have a street food adventure, take drumming and cooking classes, and stay a night or two in a traditional Korean Hanok (wooden house) or do a temple stay. Yes, you ll sing (or shout) a little at a noreabang too. And, you ll have a chance to visit your social service agency, and do adoption related visits if you d like May 31-June 15, 2016 Visit China Tour An adoptee-centered tour for China adoptive families featuring small travel groups and visits to cultural and historical sites, child s province and places of significant interest to families. Tour staff includes English-speaking guides and experienced adoption social workers. June 8-18, 2016 Visit Korea Tour: Adult Adoptee Tour Group South Korean adoptees and their families can participate in a tour that includes visits to cultural and historical sites including Seoul, Gyeongju and Busan. Participants will also tour schools and spend the evening with Korean adoptive families, visit Eastern Social Welfare Society and other agencies, maternity homes, orphanages, birthplaces and foster parents. Search assistance and counseling, and hands on cultural experiences are provided on this tour, which is escorted by experienced adoption social workers. June 12-26, 2016 Catalyst Foundation Vietnam Cultural Tour mail@catalystfoundation.org The June 2016 tour will start off with a visit to beautiful Sapa, then to the stylishly quaint capital city of Hanoi. We ll fly farther south to the ancient capital of Hue, stopping to visit the historic town of Hoi An, and relaxing days on the pristine beaches of the South China Sea. In June 2016, we ll also spend 3 days with our community in Ninh Thuan province on the Aid Expedition service project (or you can enjoy the warm days at a beach front hotel), and finally stopping in the hypnotically busy modern Saigon. This is yet another new province for us and one we have been trying to get to for a long while. Needless to say, we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity. The AGBOST is one of those experiences that you have to just let people live. It s something only an E.E. Cummings poem could come close to describing. Just know that, if you are genuinely stoked to go on an AGBOST, you should definitely apply. Adoptees from Anhui Province are definitely highly encouraged to apply.
