4 1. Expo Real 2014 From ober 2014 the biggest international trade show for property and investment will take place in Messe München International in Munich, Germany. The 16th edition of this real estate B2B exhibition offers a platform for 1,700 exhibitors from 71 countries and 38,000 participants from all over the world. The exhibition is a large networking event where project developers and managers, investors and financiers and contractors and state agents from different countries meet. It also offers an extensive conference programme with over 80 seminars, conferences and panel discussions. Furthermore, many of the exhibitors host their own presentations, networking events and meetings. The stand is located next to the Holland Property Plaza stand. This year, to represent their connection and strengthen their position, Amsterdam Metropolitan Area and Metropolitan Region Rotterdam The Hague decided to join forces presented as Dutch Investment Opportunities. 5 2. Participants Seventeen participants from the public and private sector are taking part in the collective presentation that is called Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. The style and stand were especially developed for this collaboration. As the economic driving force of The Netherlands, Amsterdam is internationally highly thought-of as one of the most dynamic cities in the world. 15 3. Project group 4. Communication The project group - led by Bob van der Zande - consists of 13 individuals representing each participating partner, public as well as private. The group started the preparations in June resulting in the stand design, programme and all communication activities. All preparations and activities where executed while working closely together with Misteli Communications. Véronique Misteli is also the contact and coordinator during the exhibition days. This joint effort underscores the positive business climate in the entire region of Western Holland. Working together makes for better networking opportunities and it improves our chances of attracting the right investors in residential real estate. Also, cost efficiency lowers the threshold for participation. Open presentation As effective networking remains our prime objective, the Dutch Investment Opportunities stand is designed to be as open and inviting as possible. We aim to create an accessible and hospitable meeting place in Munich. Eye catcher: red, white & blue In recent years, the red brand I amsterdam has worked wonders for the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. To illustrate the close collaboration between all partners involved, the Metropolitan Region Rotterdam The Hague has adopted a blue brand image. Together with a white band, the three stripes - red, white and blue - create a strong and easy to recognize image: our Dutch national flag

16 Welcome to our stand in Munich - our presence here reflects the atmosphere at home: open, creative and energetic. 5. Stand information Who is Who The Who is Who booklet was developed for all Metropolitan Area s partners and their relations. There are 500 copies printed. Also, by the click of a button you are redirected to the website of the partner of choice. Meeting houses and briefingroom There are three meeting houses and a large briefingroom available for each partner. You can book time slots. If you would like to make use of these areas, please contact the stand hostess at the information desk. Stand and information desk crew You have been scheduled as a stand and/or information desk crew member by your coordinator. It is expected that you are present during these shifts in case a visitor wants to get in contact with one of the partners. We will provide a computer were all information on each partner is presented. This computer is located at the information desk. Hostess Dagmar Janousek will be our stand hostess again this year. She will proactively approach the Expo Real visitors. Facilities WiFi is available. It is managed by the hostess

17 6. Stand design The stand has an open character with a fixed information point. This way visitors are welcomed and can easily gather information and meet people from different parties.
