We will help find available resorts that will offer you the vacation experience that you have been looking for! 2 Search for your Vacation Explore your options and consider the vacation experience you want. Focusing on the experience first, rather than a specific destination or resort, will afford you many more options. Use the RCI Directory of Affiliated Resorts to gather information on all affiliated resorts and possible destinations. You will find additional details, pictures and member reviews of resorts you may be interested in. 3 Confirm your exchange then enjoy your Vacation Once a vacation match is found, you will pay the RCI exchange fee, your Vacation Points plus a housekeeping service will then be deducted from your Club Wyndham Asia account. 5 Start an Ongoing Search If you can t find the vacation you are looking for, start an Ongoing Search. RCI will search for you 24/7 and notify you when a match is found. It is the first place newly member deposited weeks are matched against, so you will be the first in line and get prioritized access to the new deposited weeks before they are available online! 8 Tips for easy vacation planning Call Us First RCI Vacation Consultants are experts on where, when, why, how and what vacations are likely to become available. We are here to ensure that you get the best vacation planning advice for the destinations you want to visit and give you the best chance to get the vacation you want. Be Flexible Being flexible gives you the most options with a higher likelihood you will find a great holiday. Instead of selecting one or two resorts, be open to multiple destinations. Look at destinations within driving distance of your first preference or destinations that provide a similar experience to what you are looking for. Plan Early Make sure you request an exchange as early as possible. Requesting early increases your vacation options. Even if you only have a broad idea of destinations and dates, put on a request with a wide search criteria in the early stages of your planning. You can always refine your search criteria as your vacation plans become more specific. Research Use the RCI resort directory to see how many affiliated resorts are found in each location. Countries, regions or cities where there are a lot of resorts will be easier to get a vacation than those with just a few. 9 Deposit expiring points with RCI Extend your Vacation Points with RCI If your points are due to expire, you can extend the life of your points for a further two years by depositing them with RCI. Your two year period will begin on the day you deposit your points with RCI. You can check how many Vacation Points you have with RCI by calling our Vacation Consultants on your country s toll-free number. To deposit your expiring Vacation Points with RCI just call a Club Wyndham Asia Representative. You must deposit a minimum of 3,000 points. 11 Frequently How long ahead of time can I make a booking with RCI? You can make a booking up to two years from the start date of your week. How long out can I place an Ongoing Search with RCI? You can request an exchange as early as two years before the intended check-in date or as late as two days before the intended check-in date. Do I have to pay to place a request with RCI? No, it s free of charge to place a request for an exchange. When your requested vacation becomes available you are under no obligation to book this vacation. Only when you confirm your vacation booking will you be charged the exchange fee. How long out can I make a Vacation Rental booking? Vacation rental bookings can be made at least 3 days in advance of your intended check-in date. asked questions How long out can I make a Bonus Week Getaway booking? The computerised RCI exchange system has an in-built, tamper resistant security feature to ensure that once a transaction is completed; all information pertaining to your credit card account will automatically be erased. Hence it is necessary for our Vacation Consultants to ask for your credit card number every time a new transaction is processed. Do I pay an Exchange Fee for an Extra Vacation Getaway or Vacation Rental? No, you don t pay an exchange fee for an Extra Vacation Getaway or Vacation Rental. You simply pay the weekly rental rate for the accommodation. How long are RCI stays? Typically RCI stays are for seven nights and generally have a Friday or Saturday check-in. RCI Member Benefits 11
