12 Regional development The County Council is responsible for regional development That means to; Initiate, mobilize, follow up and contribute to results that leads to wanted development of the region. Identify challanges and oppurtuntities Gather regional and local stakeholders for development of common goals and strategies.

13 Strategies Hedmark County Plan The overall development plan for the county (20) Regional Cooperation Plan strategy developed by the regional partnership and make the regional budget priorities Regional Partnership consist of regional and local stakeholders in Hedmark; Innovation, Norway, County Administrative Board of Hedmark, Municipalities, University Collage of Hedmark, Representatives from Employers organisations (NHO)and Employees (LO), Norwegian Research Fund, The Norwegian Public Roads Administration, The Norwegian Labour and Welfare administration.
