3 Getting Started: Your username is your wisd username Your password is your lastname (you have the option to change your password) Click login button Web Site Manager: Edit Web Pages Preview Web Pages Modify Web Site Properties Remove Web Pages Add More Pages Page 3 of 9

4 Web Site Manager: Web Page Name o Home main page of teacher s web site o Calendar create a calendar event web page o Download file for distribution Navigation Buttons o Edit modify the page o Preview preview the page o Properties o Remove o Add More Pages Note: One (1) WISD template for the home page is given. Web content is provided by the teacher. Page 4 of 9

5 Step 1. edit your Home Page, click the radio button next to the word home page then click Edit button The Content Editor Page is the place where you can create and modify your web pages. Here you can: Add a slogan Modify page footnotes Add images Add a headline Add a story content click the edit button to add a story content. Page 5 of 9

6 Add images: Note: You can change the layout based from your preference. The default is; Change Web Page Layout: 1. Click here for editing options; select change your web page layout 2. Click the web page layout image Upload Image: Note: please create a folder for images in your hard drive, for example Classweb o Documents o Images This will help you organize your files. 7 Image Link Definition: Upload an Image use this to upload new images Select from your image Gallery use this to select images that has already been uploaded Select from netstartclass Images Delete current image Resize this image use this to adjust the size of the image you want to upload Upload an Image: Click upload an image link Click browse button Select the path of your image file, click begin upload button Resize this Image: Click resize this image link Select a percentage list down box Click preview button Click save button Page 7 of 9

8 Add more Content: Click add more content areas link Note: you can remove a content area, click the delete button How to add a calendar event from content editor page? Click list down box click here for editing options Click edit another web page Click calendar radio button Click edit Calendar Event Key Fields: Event date Event name Event time, start time, end time Event description Recurring events Expires Click continue to go back to the Web Site Manager Page 8 of 9

9 You can enter one event and have your event repeat every day, every week on this day, every two weeks on this day, every year on this day, etc. Example: If you want your event to appear for five days, select recurring every day and enter an expire Download: The Content Editor for the Download Page has the same features as the Content Editor we use when editing the Home Page. One additional feature is the "Document Upload". This feature will allow you to post documents to your web page. Click download radio button Click edit button Teacher s web site, username> Page 9 of 9
