4 3 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What is DGLux5? DGLux stands for the DGLogik User experience. It is a visualization framework that enables you to build visually stunning applications and dashboards without ever having to write a single line of code. How is DGLux5 accessed? DGLux5 is a client-side technology that runs within any browser as well as natively on ios, Android, and Windows Mobile. DGLux is truly cross platform - not a single app is required! Intelligent scaling with responsive layout ensuring that every user interface is automatically optimized for any screen size to ensure the optimal viewer experience on any mobile device. How is DGLux5 deployed? DGLux can be installed on any local or hosted server. If you choose to install on-site, you have full control of the deployment architecture. DGLux5 architecture is flexible enough to accomodate a hosted solution where DGLux can reside in the cloud and access data on any other servers or devices. DGLux can also reside on any embedded device such as a gateway or controller. The core DGLux5 platform requires roughly 5Mb of space, so if your device has an extra 5Mb of memory, it can host DGLux5. Does DGLux5 have analytics capabilities? DGLux5 has sophisticated client-side logic built directly into the platform that allows you to create formulas and manipulate your data before binding it to graphics. In addition, DGLux5 supports multiple powerful server side analytics engines from our partners. Does DGLux5 come with any templates and/or graphics? DGLux5 ships with a standard library of templates. In addition, custom templates with your color scheme, logos, and brand guidelines can be specifically designed for your company for easy deployment across your client base. DGLux5 also ships with a standard graphics library, equipment libraries, and dashboarding components. Can DGLux5 operate as a command center? DGLux5 can absolutely operate as a command center! Any point you can control using your BMS, you can control using DGLux5. Does DGLux5 replace my existing BMS? DGLux5 does not replace your existing BMS, but rather compliments it. DGLux5 replaces the way you interact with your BMS - it is an IOT visualization layer that resides on top of your BMS or database and enables you to design stunning IOT applications using the rich feature set and functionality. DGLux5 is a unified portal for presenting information from all of your systems into a singular interface, telling the most relevant story to a variety of audiences. Can DGLux5 connect to multiple data sources at the same time? DGLux5 can seamlessly connect to various data sources at the same time. For example, DGLux5 can display analytical results from SkySpark, control real-time points from NiagaraAX, and query data from SQL, while pulling weather data from an XML feed all within a single interface. What are the options for integrating a custom/proprietary data provider? DGLux5 was built from the ground up to communicate with multiple databases and data types. There are various options available which will be covered in your introductory meeting. Can DGLogik complete a turnkey solution? DGLogik has a Professional Services Division consisting of project engineers and design professionals who can complete turnkey projects or assist with templates, support and training to enable your team to deliver a turnkey solution with DGLux5 technology. How much does DGLux5 cost? DGLux5 pricing varies based on the application that it is being used on. There is established pricing for typical data providers, such as NiagaraAX, SkySpark, SQL and others. Custom pricing is available for unique applications. 5 4 DGLux5 TRAINING OPTIONS ON-SITE TRAINING (Oakland, CA) We offer 3-day training seminars in Oakland. REMOTE TRAINING Remote training is provided in blocks of hours and is tracked in 15 minute intervals. Training hours can be segmented into 2 or 3 hour sessions and scheduled at your convenience. TRAINING AT YOUR FACILITY For groups of 8 or more people, our trainers can come to your facility. Please contact your DGLogik Representative for a quote and to schedule the arrangements. 5 SUPPORT OPTIONS ONE-ON-ONE SUPPORT Personal, one-on-one support is provided in blocks of hours. 6 6 HOW TO BUY A DGLux DEMO LICENSE DGLux DEMO LICENSE - $250 The DGLux Demo License is the full DGLux application with access to all features and functionality. As a Demo License, it is limited to connecting up to 5 basic devices. DGLux ENGINEERING LICENSE - $500 The DGLux Engineering License, like the Demo license also includes all features and functionality. The difference is that a DGLux Engineering License allows you to connect up to 10 advanced devices for easy engineering offline. Once a project is completed, it can be transferred from your engineering installation to a live customer. DEMO INTERFACES INCLUDED! High-End DGLux5 demo interfaces are available for download in the downloads section on our website. It allows you to immediately showcase DGLux to your customers. These interfaces are also helpful templates for you to dissect and learn common techniques. HOW TO ORDER AND PLACE PAYMENTS? Option 1: Purchase Order - Issue a P.O. and send a.pdf copy to orders@dglogik.com. - Please specify the Host ID of where DGLux will be installed on the P.O. Option 2: Credit Card - Send an to orders@dglogik.com requesting to make payment through Paypal.com. - A PayPal invoice will be issued, which can be paid with any credit card. Please make sure to specify which address you would like the invoice to go to. WHERE TO DOWNLOAD INSTALLATION FILES? For Customers: Simply, create an account through our website and verify the confirmation code that gets ed to you. Then, we will automatically enable the Downloads section with access to the DGLux Installation page which contains INSTALLATION FILES and the SETUP GUIDE. LICENSING PROCESS DGLux licensing is built directly into the application. Once installed, login to DGLux with default credentials and follow the on screen licensing prompt. Licensing is easy and built right into DGLux itself. You simply install, request, and follow the directions.
