2 Before 2007 there were 2 upper-secondary schools in Koniecpol. Both schools were united and moved to the new modern buliding in Our students come mostly from Częstochowa district, but there are some of us who commute from neighbouring districts.

3 Małgorzata Migalska is our head teacher. The total number of teachers and instructors is 45.

4 The school is quite big, with 6000 square meters of space. We have: 20 general classrooms 4 language classrooms 2 gyms

5 2 high-tech IT classrooms a fully equipped chemistry classroom an economics classroom a conference hall

6 and a library with a multimedia centre.

7 The school is right next to Częstochowa - Kielce route. Around the school we have a football pitch, a basketball court and a tennis court. There is also a large car park and a beautiful lawn with many bushes and small trees.

8 Our students learn how to repair cars in our workshops and those who love cooking have classes in a large kitchen.

10 We can take part in a variety of competitions - in sports, ecology, foreign languages, painting or photography.

11 We co-operate with the Koniecpol Lovers Society, Technical College of Częstochowa and Ars Christiana Society.

12 We commemorate important events with special actions and ceremonies. Our project "The Day of Bread" is aimed at promoting Polish and regional traditions. We prepare a performance about bread s history and customs connected with it. Cooking classes make a lot of dishes: bread, cakes and Polish food.

14 We organize and take part in numerous school events and competitions. We participate in the AIESEC project every year. Students from different countries, for example Brasil, Australia, Taiwan, come to our school and we have classes about the visiting countries culture and traditions. All the talking is done in English.

16 Mam haka na raka is a social campaign that is oriented on educating young people on cancer, its dangers, symptoms and prevention. During the first stage of the program, we learned about the disease and ways of fighting it, and we had to inform the local community about it by various happenings, school events, lectures, giving out leaflets. In the second stage we had to prepare our own anticancer campaign. We also went to Warsaw to participate in the final ceremony.

18 European Languages Day Each year we organize European Languages Day. Students can take part in language contest and competitions about European countries. Each class prepares information about the choosen country and the presentation is shown during the school event on 21st March. Some students cook food that is eaten in particular countries. We also sing songs in different languages.
