3 Remarkable Solutions Outdoor Formula General Cleaning What is the dilution rate of Remarkable Solutions All-Purpose Cleaner? It really depends upon the surfaces being cleaned, the amount of contamination to be removed, and which product you are using. For the typical house siding or deck surface, a ratio of 1 part Remarkable Solutions to 9 parts water is a good starting mixture. Experience will determine whether to make additional solutions either stronger or weaker. A stronger solution may clean faster but will also require more rinsing. A balance must be maintained to economize on water. What is the coverage area of Remarkable Solutions? This will be determined by how porous the surface is that you are cleaning. You can expect to clean approximately square feet per gallon of mixed product for most surface areas around the house. Should I sweep or wash the surface before applying Remarkable Solutions? Ideally, removing any excess debris will improve the effectiveness of Remarkable Solutions products. It's not necessary to wash the surface prior to application. Remarkable Solutions products will work more efficiently when applied to a dry surface. Can I apply Remarkable Solutions with a hose end sprayer? Yes and No. Most hose end sprayers do not have the correct dilution rate for Remarkable Solutions Mold Grime Mildew Remover, which Remarkable Solutions FAQ is why we have the House & Deck wash which comes with an attached hose end sprayer. We recommend a pump-up garden sprayer for the All Purpose formula. Can I apply Remarkable Solutions with a pressure washer? We recommend applying Remarkable Solutions with a pump-up garden sprayer or a low-pressure agricultural sprayer. A pressure washer may assist with rinsing the surface but is generally not required. Will Remarkable Solutions harm the glass in my windows? No, Remarkable Solutions is a gentle product and will not etch the glass in windows. However, Remarkable Solutions may leave a residue on the glass. After the Remarkable Solutions has dried, you can wash the glass portion of the window with glass cleaner to remove any residue. Can I use Remarkable Solutions indoors? Although indoor use is not recommended, Remarkable Solutions can be used indoors in a well -ventilated area as long as the items being cleaned can be thoroughly rinsed afterward. How long will Remarkable Solutions take to work? Immediately. Simply apply Remarkable Solutions to the area to be cleaned, let it penetrate for a minute, agitate with a soft short bristle brush or cloth, rinse the surface with fresh water and watch the remarkable results. Can I use Remarkable Solutions for commercial applications? Absolutely! Remarkable Solutions products were developed for the commercial and industrial marketplace. Outdoor Cleaning Can you use Remarkable Solutions to clean the grout in exterior tiles? Yes! The use of a short bristle scrub brush will assist in removing mold, grime, mildew and algae stains. Can I use Remarkable Solutions on my pool surround? Remarkable Solutions is ideal to use around your pool. Any over spray will not greatly affect the ph in your pool. Patio furniture, deck chairs, vinyl awnings, and pool equipment are all recommended for cleaning as well. When is the best time to apply Remarkable Solutions Mold Grime Mildew Remover? Apply Remarkable Solutions on a cool, dry, windless day, when no rain is expected. Often the evening or early morning is the best time to apply, when evaporation is minimal. This way, the treated surface stays wet with Remarkable Solutions long enough to allow for penetration of the soils. Remarkable Solutions can be applied at any temperature above 32 degrees. Will Remarkable Solutions remove the contamination off my decks? Most definitely! It will clean any type of decking, including composite decking. If your deck is older and black with contamination, wait several minutes after applying Remarkable Solutions and then give the area a light brush with a scrub brush and rinse well. You may need to reapply Remarkable Solutions several times to remove heavily contaminated decks. Can I Use Remarkable Solutions on composite decking? Yes, you can use Remarkable Solutions on any brand of composite decking to clean off moss, mold, mildew and algae stains. Can Remarkable Solutions be used on any outside surface? Absolutely, you can use Remarkable Solutions on any outside surface, including: concrete driveways and walkways, patios, pool surrounds, asphalt driveways, fiberglass, brick, painted textured surfaces, tombstones, natural stone, ceramic pots, wood decks, composite decks, Astro Turf, tennis courts, canvas awnings, greenhouses, boats, RV's, gutters, siding (vinyl, aluminum, and wood and stucco) and roofs (asphalt and fiberglass, steel, clay, shake and tile). Safety How long can Remarkable Solutions be stored? Remarkable Solutions has an unlimited shelf life. It's non-caustic and non-acidic. Remarkable Solutions can be stored in the original bottle as a concentrate or as a dilution in your garden sprayer. Remarkable Solutions is safe for pets and will not affect them under normal circumstances. However, after application, keep your pets off the surface until it is dry to ensure they do not ingest any of the Remarkable Solutions formula. If they accidentally walk in the treated area while wet, rinse your pet's paws with fresh water as a precaution. Remarkable Solutions is safe for pets if it rains after the dry time. Will Remarkable Solutions damage my plants or lawn? Only if Remarkable Solutions is sprayed directly onto a plant. Protect plants from overspray by rinsing with water before and after application or covering them during application. Can I store Remarkable Solutions in a place where the temperature drops below 32 degrees? Remarkable Solutions products will work best when stored in a cool dry location. If it does become frozen, thaw completely and mix well before using. Painting Can I paint or stain over Remarkable Solutions All Purpose or House & Deck Wash? Remarkable Solutions is exactly the right product to clean your house prior to painting. It removes mold, grime, and mildew from the surface as well as the oxidized paint and it freely rinses clean. This results in a surface ready to be painted. You may be pleasantly surprised that once cleaned with Remarkable Solutions Mold Grime Mildew Remover, painting may not be required. Spraying your house annually with Remarkable Solutions will extend the life of your paint. Microorganisms and Enzymes Does Remarkable Solutions Remarkable Enzyme Action contain live microorganisms? Yes, Remarkable Enzyme Action uses live, beneficial bacteria to help degrade and remove organics that ordinary cleaners or products miss. Remarkable Enzyme Action products contain live bacteria in a dormant state called spore. The spores will not become active as long as the container is securely closed and stored in a cool, dry place. When the spores come in to contact with water when you clean they become active and the microorganisms get to work producing the enzymes that clean and degrease. The best partthe microorganisms keep working even after you are done cleaning, so surfaces stay clean longer and you get a deep clean. How long will Remarkable Enzyme Action last? As long as the container is securely closed from air and water, the solution will last 1 to 2 years. Best of all, the enzymes continue to work eating mold, grime, and mildew even after you are done cleaning. What is the best way to clean with the House and Deck Wash? The House and Deck Enzyme Cleaner is most effective when you use it on an already damp surface. Apply the enzyme cleaner to the damp surface and leave for 10 to 20 minutes, but don t allow the solution to dry- the enzyme cleaner doesn t work if it is not damp. For heavily soiled areas, brush with a stiff bristled brush to help remove grime. Rinse thoroughly. The cleaner will continue to work after you have rinsed it off, since some of the microorganisms stay behind eating the mold and grime. Indoor Formula What will the Kitchen and Bathroom Enzyme Cleaner work on? The Kitchen and Bathroom Enzyme Cleaner uses biotechnology to remove mold, grime, soap scum, and mildew from your kitchen and bathroom. Great ways to use the cleaner include: Removing soap scum rings from tubs and shower surrounds Killing mold and mildew on grout and tile Get grime and grease off of kitchen counters and sinks- it also helps keep your sink drain clear by continuing to work eating grease even down your drain! Safety What is the safety information for Remarkable Enzyme Action? Remarkable Enzyme Action contains a patented blend of microorganisms, preservatives, salts and water. Microbial strains are isolates of naturally occurring organisms and are not genetically engineered or modified. Eye and skin irritant. Do not get in eyes. May cause skin irritation. Prevent skin contact. Wear eye and skin protection. May cause respiratory tract irritation. Use only in well ventilated outdoors. Do not mix with other chemicals. Wash thoroughly after handling. The enzymes are produced by beneficial microorganisms that have been carefully selected based on their natural abilities. The microorganisms are in the Biosafety Level 1 (Risk Group 1) containment group, which means that they pose a low risk to individuals and communities, and it is highly unlikely that they will cause disease in healthy humans or animals.
