Learn more about this on pages The MPOptimate system is an MPO based solution capable of meeting the requirements of the Data Center standards EN , ISO/IEC and TIA/EIA 942. With this system the Data Center owner can design up to 6 MPO cassettes in a channel of up to 300 meters in a fully passive way, while still meeting the insertion and return loss values for the Data Center applications such as: 10 Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel and InfiniBand. By implementing an MPOptimate system the user can replace aggregation switches with a patch cord. This allows the user to migrate to newer core switching structures without touching the cabling infrastructure in the Data Center. The MPOptimate system is intended for Data Center owners who are planning for next generation applications and next generation architectures. MRJ21 STP System AMP -Link Learn more about this on page Tyco Electronics introduces an improved high density shielded copper MRJ21 System for Data Centers. In view of the increasing demands for uptime and airflow and in order to satisfy EMC requirements, the system has been improved through a new PCB and an optimized overall system design. This allows for increased data integrity and provides more performance headroom in EMC sensitive environments. The MRJ21 STP system is preterminated and therefore offers fast and easy installation of a high speed cabling system. Performance is guaranteed by 100% factory testing of all AMP Sigma-Link Classic cable assemblies. The far end can be traced by an integrated plastic optical fiber (POF) for easy identification after in stallation. The system is designed for reliable and quick operation in Data Centers. All components fully comply to TIA/EIA 942 and EN , the Data Center specific standards. Smart com ponents have been added to address the specific needs of data centers, such as Heavy Duty Shelves to store heavy electronic equipment, a Guiding Shelf to route larger stacks of MRJ21 cables inside a cabinet or Fiber Organizer Drum Plates for SANs to handle patch cord overlengths. A subfloor holder makes unused false floor space available for patch panel mounting. Learn more about this on pages The new Modular Fiber Optic Panel flushmount style is a 19 1 U fiber drawer patch panel that sup ports direct fiber termination and pigtail splicing. The panel consists of a drawer chassis and a modular adaptor panel that is available with traditional style adaptors: ST, SC duplex and LC duplex. In addition a modular adaptor panel with four cut-outs for Quick-Fit modules is available; this allows the panel to be de signed in the most flexible way, so that even AMPTRAC versions are possible. A transparent cover allows the inside of the panel to be checked without removing the cover. A pull-out strip below the modular adaptor panels enables effective labeling of the individual ports. 8
