2 2 free animal aid dvds Animal Aid Education DVD Compilation Features Their Future in Your Hands, Investigating Animal Research, From Farm to Fork, Eat This! and Let s Cook. See below for details of these films. We will send you this compilation DVD when you order any of these films, unless you specify that you prefer the single version of the film. Their Future in Your Hands Suitable for KS3 - KS5 Duration: 11 minutes Short introduction to animal rights. Ideal for stimulating discussion about the topic in lessons such as citizenship, English, RE and sixth form general studies. Covers a range of issues, but looks at animal testing and farming animals for food in particular detail. Rather than simply describing the suffering of animals in laboratories and factory farms, this is a film of hope, showing how we can all help to create a better world for humans, animals and the environment. Investigating Animal Research Versions available for KS3 and KS4-sixth form Duration: 14 minutes and 16 minutes This DVD presents the case against the use of animals in scientific research and is ideal for stimulating discussion and debate about the animal research issue in science, English, RE, citizenship and sixth form general studies. From Farm to Fork an investigation into factory farming Suitable for KS3 Duration: 16 minutes This thought-provoking film is ideal for promoting discussion and debate about the way we rear animals for food in Britain today. The film is suitable for KS3 students and is ideal for covering aspects of the curriculum in English, citizenship, PSHE, RE and science. Eat This! Suitable for KS4 Duration: 20 minutes The film follows four teenagers with very different views, as they ask hardhitting questions about meat. Where does it come from? What is eating it doing to us, the animals and the environment? This film covers KS4 national curriculum targets in citizenship and English, and is also suitable for use in PSHE, religious studies and general studies. Free accompanying Student Activities booklet available see opposite. Let s Cook Suitable for KS3 and KS4 food technology Duration: 10 and 15 minutes A film in two parts, featuring Animal Aid s cookery training officer demonstrating how to cook a veggie chilli, and a veggie sausage and bean casserole.
