Strong Stiff Beautiful AcoustaComp composite materials are stronger and stiffer than plastics and will not ring or tin like metals. 6 Globe Plastics, Chino Facility The Globe, Chino facility provides compression molding for parts up to 30 pounds with clamp pressures up to 500 tons and injection molding with clamp forces up to 375 tons. Design capabilities include review of part designs to optimize geometry for moldability, structural integrity and cosmetics. When required Static or Dynamic FEA or mold flow analysis can be performed. Once a design is finalized, SLA models can be fabricated to confirm form, fit and function. Globe Plastics is an AS 9100 Rev C, ISO 9001:2008 registered company so Customers can be assured that the product we produce will be the same high quality from First Article through the life of the product. Our capabilities include full mechanical inspection including programmable CMM, independent test and complete material traceability.

7 Moldmaking Moldmaking and precision machining operations are performed in a timely and cost effective manner. Our capabilities include vertical and horizontal CNC milling up to 60 x 30 x 30 and CNC turning up to 20. These operations are augmented by EDM and grinding processes. Full mechanical inspection and CMM capabilities assist in the quality fabrication of molds. Precision machining of steel, aluminum and exotic alloys add to Globes capabilities to manufacture top quality components and assemblies for the Sound Industry. Globe Composites Far East, Ltd. Globe Composites Far East, Ltd. Is a full service moldmaking and molding facility located in Dong Guan, China. Our moldmaking capabilities include CNC machining centers up to 1,000 mm x 500 mm x 500 mm, CNC turning, EDM and grinding. We provide full engineering support and utilize Solidworks, Pro E and MasterCam software. All projects are controlled by our engineering group in California and weekly reports are submitted to Customers. Molding capabilities include compression molding up to 300 tons and composite injection molding up to 200 tons featuring Globe AcoustaComp composite materials. Thermoplastic injection molding is also featured as a service to our customers.
