Ski & Snowboard School Pitztal Our Ski School offers a wide range of courses from group to private lessons, beginners to advanced skiers, courses for the family and for the Kiddies - classes are taught according to age and ability. With us there are many possibilities for your holiday in the snow, we also offer a dynamic Snowboard and Freeride programme, Cross Country Ski lessons and the chance to step out of the designated Ski Area and into the Alpine world with a guided tour to one of our local Summits. 4 Babysitting service Make use of the babysitting programme in Pitzti s kids paradise from the 17th of October 2014 till the 12th of April We now have a brand new day care offering great kids programmes! Our Pitzi team takes on children from the age of 10 months, open daily from Sunday till Friday from 9am till 3.30 pm. Among many other things we have a climbing wall, Lego and table football (fuzz ball) for the kids to try out. The weekly programme will be lovingly put together by our Pitzi Team for your child s enjoyment. Bambini lessons Your child s participation in the Ski School involves a combination of ski, play and animation. The little ones will learn to Ski with the help of our FOR 3-5 YEARS Magic Carpets, Flags, Figures and many other exciting things that will help them along the way, creating a friendly child safe environment. We offer Bambini lessons on a half day and full day basis, with the option of - Lunch Time Care - where the kids will be provided with lunch and looked after over the break. Our special kid s instructors will teach your child with enthusiasm so that they don t want to take their skies off at the end of the lesson! With our FOR 5-14 YEARS fantastic Kids Area and variety of different activities and exercises it will make your child s stay a great experience that they will still be talking about when they get home! So that you Mums and Dads out there can also enjoy your day on the Mountain - we also offer Lunch Time supervision! 9 FREERIDE Our highly qualified mountain and ski guides will show you the ropes whether you re a beginner or expert you will be able to experience Pitztal s amazing freeride world! We know the best spots, where to find the best powder, and also where the dangers are hiding! It is just as important in back country to know how to handle situations as it is to learn the right technique. Come and enjoy a few unforgettable days with us! You will learn about freeride terminology on the slope and in deep snow close to the designated areas, although fun is also at the top of our priority list. 10 CROSS COUNTRY Appreciate the magical winter landscape with our wonderfully prepared Cross-Country tracks! Our Cross Country Instructors, instruct both Classic and Skating. Pitztal has Cross Country tracks not only in the valley, but also on Rifflsee with a track running around the lake and the Cross Country Centre on the Glacier. Meeting point: Ski School office Mandarfen. Group courses need to have at least 3 participants in order to take place! Cross Country courses 2 Days 2 h 82,-- 1 Day 2 h 43,- 3 Days 2 h 117,- SNOWSHOEING The easiest way to experience our winter wonderland if you can walk, you can Snowshoe! When the weather isn t the best for a ski, Snowshoeing is a great alternative! Your guide will show you our most beautiful walks, through forests, next to rivers and into the gorge. From Christmas till spring every Tuesday is a guided snow shoeing tour from 4-5pm and costs 12,- per person. There need to be at least 3 part-takers in order for the tour to take place. For enrollment and meeting point please go to our Ski School office Mandarfen (bottom of the Riffelseebahn). 11 SKI TOUR WILDSPITZE Pitztal, with its uncountable 3000ers invites keen mountaineers for a ski tour. The Wildspitze (3774m) is the highest mountain in north Tyrol, and could be the highlight of your holiday! From beginners to experienced ski tourers Pitztal has something for everyone, with a large variety of backcountry skiing. For example Linker Fernerkogel, Petersenspitze, K2, Rostizkogel etc. Price Wildspitze: Private 1-2 people 320,- every further person +10% Group price from 4 people 90,-. Required equipment can be hired at our office. Friday special for 80,- to the Wildspitze. Need to be at least 4 participants. Required equipment can be hired in our offices. Price for other tours start from 320,- for 1-2 persons depending on difficulty of the tour, every other person +10%. General Information Ski school course hours and There need to be at least 4 participants in order for a course to take place. It is only possible to extend course tickets at the cheaper extension rate after day three. Exception only to snowboard and adult ski courses after the 2nd. If a group is less than 4 participants the Ski School has the right to put smaller groups together or shorten the lesson. Only with a Doctor s certificate due to sickness or injury will you be given your money back. If courses are cancelled due to an act of nature beyond control, money will not be reimbursed. Courses will take place by all weather conditions. For half day courses we charge 70% of the full day course fee. It is a possibility that participants may have to change Instructors. The Ski School Club Alpin Pitztal will not take any responsibility for accidents or injury, whether they happen during, before or after lessons. Accident and emergency insurance is to be taken care of by the participant. Private courses can be booked online from October till May, group courses from Christmas till the Easter holidays due to the 4 person rule with group courses. We accept credit cards.
