Please use the official BRC entry forms for ALL classes. Each team MUST provide a helper for half a day. Please give name and contact details with your entry. All cheques should be made payable to SORC. BACS payments accepted: South Oxfordshire Riding Club sortcode account number All hats must have a visible orange BRC hat tag in place before they are used for warming up and competing. There will be a trained steward at the competition that is able to tag your hat for you if it doesn t already have one. Your horse must have up to date Influenza vaccinations in line with rule G7 in the current BRC Rulebook. There is a checking device on the BRC website, but please call the BRC team if you need reassurance that the dates are valid. Protective Headwear must be worn at all times by anyone, whether or not a Competitor, riding anywhere at a BRC event. Harnesses must be correctly adjusted and fastened. At all BRC Championships and qualifiers Protective Headwear must show a visible BRC hat tag. Protective Headwear constitutes a hat which meets one of the following standards. Failure to do so will incur elimination. PAS 015 (1998 or 2011) and must have BSI Kitemark VG ( ) and must have BSI Kitemark ASTM F1163 (2004a or 04a onwards) and must have SEI mark SNELL E2001 and must have SNELL label and number AS/NZS 3838 (2006 onwards) and must have SAI Global mark Due to a change by the European Commission regarding EN1384 and BSEN1384 no longer being an accepted standard, all hats which only meet the EN1384 or the BSEN1384, and do not comply with the above list, WILL NOT be accepted and therefore will not be permitted for any BRC competition. Hats which bear the EN1384 or BSEN1384 along with another standard from the above list will be tagged. For example, BSEN1384 & PAS015 (1998 or 2011) along with the kitemark, would be acceptable, but not BSEN1384 on its own.

5 GENERAL CONDITIONS AND RULES OF ENTRY 1. No liability shall fall on the Organisers, Landowners, Judges or Officials in respect of any loss, damage or injury howsoever caused and all competitors are deemed to be liable to indemnify the said persons in respect of any such loss, damage or injury. 2. Every effort will be made to keep to the schedules, but we reserve the right to alter the order and composition of classes or to cancel them. 3. Any competitor may be warned or disqualified for improper or excessive use of whips, spurs etc. or other actions which the Judges or Officials consider warrants such penalty. 4. Correct riding attire must be worn at all times. 5. All horses being ridden on the showground must be 4 years or older. 6. Stallions must be handled and ridden by people who have attained their 14th birthday on the 1st January in the current year. 7. The ruling of the judges is final. All complaints must be put in writing and handed to the secretary with a deposit of 20 within 15 minutes of the incident, returnable if the objection is upheld. 8. Entries may be refused without reason being given. 9. A refund (less admin fee) may be issued on production of a Medical/Veterinary Certificate or at the Secretary s discretion. 10. Changes to teams, pairs or individuals must be notified to the secretary at least 30 minutes before the first member of that team, the pair or the individual competes. 11. ALL DOGS must be kept on leads (non-extending) at all times. 12. It is the responsibility of competitors to know the rules our stewards and officials are there to help and advise.
