4 Australian - Canadian Prostate Cancer April Travel Bookings Further travel information is available on the Daydream Island website and online domestic flight bookings are available through Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Qantas. Delegates can book their transfers between the airport and Daydream Island by completing the flight information in the Booking Request Form. The cost of the airport transfer will then be charged to your hotel room, and can be paid when you check out of your room. Delegate Costs Delegates will be provided with 3 nights of accommodation, and the following meals during the Symposium: Friday 13 April: dinner Saturday 14 April: breakfast, lunch and dinner Sunday 15 April: breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday 16 April: breakfast and lunch Delegates will be responsible for their travel costs to Daydream Island, including flights and airport transfers. Daydream Island offers free activities to all guests including: open air cinema (Mon, Wed, Fri), complimentary catamarans, paddle skies, wild fish feeding, tennis, gym and rainforest walk. Delegates will be responsible for the cost of any optional activities. Please note that all prices listed are in Australian dollars. Accommodation Options Upgrading Accommodation Delegates will be provided with 3 nights accommodation in a Garden Balcony room. Subject to availability, delegates may upgrade their room at their own cost. Delegates requiring accommodation before Friday 13 April and/or after Sunday 15 April, will be responsible for the cost of these additional nights and bookings are subject to availability. The following pages provide more information about accommodation and meal costs for extra guests, as well as the activities and Kid s Club available on Daydream Island. Accommodation Costs for Extra Guests The Garden Balcony Room provided to delegates can be configured with 1 King bed or 2 Queen beds. There is no additional accommodation cost for a second adult and up to 2 children (aged under 15 years) to share the delegate s room. Cots are available at no extra cost. The maximum bedding capacity of a delegate s room is two queen beds and one rollaway bed. Children aged 15 years and older are charged as adults and will incur an additional cost of $100 per night to stay in the delegate s room. Family rooms (consisting of two interconnecting rooms) can also be booked subject to availability. Family rooms contain one king bed in the first room and two queen beds in the second room. These family rooms are available as either a Garden Balcony or Ocean Balcony. 8 Our 0 to 5 years program has fun age appropriate activities everyday We offer a variety of art and craft, construction, imaginative play and plenty more. Plus a fantastic outdoor playground exclusively for Skippers Club guests. We also have a fun 6 to 12 holiday program This program involves lots of fun outdoor games and activities around the island as well as helping children meet friends their own age! The fun activities include, treasure hunts, fish feeding, basketball, coconut bowls, tennis, nature walks, mini golf, group games and much more! Where can you find the Skippers Club We are right next door to the Rejuvenation Spa on the North End of the island behind Mermaids Restaurant! You are always welcome to come and meet us! Remember to wear your sunscreen before you enter the centre. Babysitting Daydream Island Resort and Spa also provides a babysitting service. You can book a babysitting by calling Skippers Club on ext #8652. Babysitting is room charge only. Your babysitter will meet you at your room at the hours of your choice. If you have any requests, for example helping children with dinner or taking children for walks, you can organise this with your babysitter on arrival.
