Facetime Closed Captioning imessage Screen Flash Mono Audio Purple Video Relay Services Video chat at high resolution and quick frame rate Description for movies, TV shows, videos and podcasts in itunes. Not subtitles! Text messaging and group messaging working between computers and phones Instead of beep sounds for app notifications, screen can flash Can choose to play left and right audio in both ears Utilizes certified video translators to help people communicate (VRS) People who can read lips, use sign language, or don t need to use language Those who are hard of hearing or deaf Not auditory communication, better than text messaging because of cross-platform Those who are hard of hearing or deaf People who are hard of hearing or deaf in one ear Those whom are hard of hearing and who understand American sign language

Switch Control Gives users ability to enter text, move pointer, navigate onscreen keyboards, menus, the Dock and more all by clicking a switch. Uses a system commonly referred to as scanning. People with severely restricted mobility who have limited ability to make fine and/or course gestures and are unable to operate a mouse, keyboard or touch device with any degree of accuracy. Slow Keys Sticky Keys Delay when the keys are pressed; auditory cue is also available for when the keys are pressed Can combine keystrokes to eliminate having to press down two keys at once (i.e shift+letter to make a capital) -Muscle gradation(pressing keys too hard) -Finger isolation -Tremors -Decreased tactile awareness -Use of one hand -Decreased range of motion in hand

In cases where a person does not have reliable muscle control in the hands to use keyboard Students with disabilities like dyslexia or dysgraphia Mouse Keys Onscreen Keyboard Use the number or keyboard keys to navigate the mouse cursor Floating keyboard over applications that you can use a mouse or switch to control. Can be combined with sticky keys. -People with repetitive strain injury from using a mouse -People tremors (Examples: TBI, stroke, MS, parkinsons) -People with decreased motor control (Examples: CP, Autism) -If using a switch or other mouse to access typing

Simple Finder Reduces Dock to three folders making it easier to navigate -Decreased attention Text to Speech User can highlight any text, and computer voice will read it aloud. User has ability to adjust the speaking rate and choose from over 70 voices spanning 42 languages. -Learners who benefit when two or more senses are engaged simultaneously -Students learning new language -People who experience dyslexia, reading challenges, or visual impairment that makes it difficult to read the screen.

Word Completion After typing a few letters, OSX provides a list of possible words by pressing escape after typing letters *Only in Apple apps* -People who have difficulty typing or decreased endurance with typing -People who have difficulty with spelling Dictionary Dictionary app provides quick access to definitions and synonyms that help with grammar, spelling, and pronunciation from anywhere in OS X. -Language learners -Students with reading challenges
