(b) Applications shall not disrupt or disable activated features of other products that are identified as accessibility features, where those features are developed and documented according to industry standards. Applications also shall not disrupt or disable activated features of any operating system that are identified as accessibility features where the application programming interface for those accessibility features has been documented by the manufacturer of the operating system and is available to the product developer. (c) A well-defined onscreen indication of the current focus shall be provided that moves among interactive interface elements as the input focus changes. The focus shall be programmatically exposed so that Assistive Technology can track focus and focus changes. (d) Sufficient information about a user interface element including the identity, operation and state of the element shall be available to Assistive Technology. When an image represents a program element, the regarding how to enable the Accessible Interface. We are not aware of any such disruptions within any of the SBM components. The Accessible Interface supports this functionality as provided by the web browser. For example, HTML elements in focus are highlighted with a "dashed box outline", blinking cursors within a text entry field, etc. In the Accessible Interface, we provide text for user interface elements, as outlined by web standards. For example, we supply text values in the alt, title, value, summary, label and other appropriate attributes for a given element.

3 information conveyed by the image must also be available in text. (e) When bitmap images are used to identify controls, status indicators, or other programmatic elements, the meaning assigned to those images shall be consistent throughout an application's performance. (f) Textual information shall be provided through operating system functions for displaying text. The minimum information that shall be made available is text content, text input caret location, and text attributes. (g) Applications shall not override user selected contrast and color selections and other individual display attributes. (h) When animation is displayed, the information shall be displayable in at least one non-animated presentation mode at the option of the user. with with Note: Images are not used in SBM Accessible Web Interface. Bitmap images are not initially provided or displayed in SBM components The Accessible Interface utilizes the Windows standards for the browser interface. For example, in the listed components, text input areas display the text that is being input and also displays a text caret when as you enter the text. The Accessible Interface does not override user s specified display attributes. For the Standard Interface, the color and font values can overridden by most browsers (for example Firefox and IE) through optional settings. Animations are provided during the initial presentation of some graphical components like charts or transitioning between UI states, however the animation does not convey information not available through other means.

4 (i) Color coding shall not be used as the only means of conveying information, indicating an action, prompting a response, or distinguishing a visual element. (j) When a product permits a user to adjust color and contrast settings, a variety of color selections capable of producing a range of contrast levels shall be provided. (k) Software shall not use flashing or blinking text, objects, or other elements having a flash or blink frequency greater than 2 Hz and lower than 55 Hz. with with Color is used to designate required fields, status of items in views and sections within graphs, however the accompanying text is provided to explicitly convey this same information. Color is used for warning/error messages, however the text itself communicates meaning clearly. The Serena Business Manager Standard Web Interface allows users to select different colors for thresholds for distribution reports, but the color choices may not meet this criterion. Report creation is not provided via the Accessible Interface, and certain report types such as distribution reports are not available within the Accessible Interface. No such elements are initially provided or displayed in the various SBM components.

All form elements are labeled appropriately with text that is accessible by Assistive Technologies. There may be a few nonstandard control types, such as the date picker and multiselection fields, within forms for the Standard Interface. Return to the top of the page. Section Web-based Internet information and applications Detail Criteria (a) A text equivalent for every non-text element shall be provided (e.g., via "alt", "longdesc", or in element content). No server-side images maps are initially provided or displayed in any of the various SBM components.

7 (f) Client-side image maps shall be provided instead of server-side image maps except where the regions cannot be defined with an available geometric shape. with No client-side images are used within the Accessible Interface. The content of the textonly page shall be updated whenever the primary page changes. (l) When pages utilize scripting languages to display content, or to create interface elements, the information provided by the script shall be identified with functional text that can be read by Assistive Technology. (m) When a web page requires that an applet, plug-in or other application be present on the client system to interpret page content, the page must provide a link to a plug-in or applet that complies N/A SBM is compliant out of the box, but if customers choose, they can create process apps and add content to custom SBM s standard interface is compliant, but as an extra measure, SBM additionally provides text-based Accessible Interface pages as an option from the Standard Web Interface User Profile page. The Accessible Interface is coded to meet the standards for this criterion. Plugins are not utilized within the Accessible Interface.

9 with (a) through (l). (n) When electronic forms are designed to be completed on-line, the form shall allow people using Assistive Technology to access the information, field elements, and functionality required for completion and submission of the form, including all directions and cues. (o) A method shall be provided that permits users to skip repetitive navigation links. (p) When a timed response is required, the user shall be alerted and given sufficient time to indicate more time is required. "Label for" attributes are generated for field labels. Id" attributes are generated for their corresponding field values. The Accessible Interface provides simple navigation and refrains from repeating unnecessary navigation links based on the content of the page. For the Standard Interface, users can bookmark reports, items, forms that can be accessed outside of the application. Users can also access Quicklinks (Favorites) that can be used to skip repetitive navigation links inside the Standard Interface application.
