2 THE PROBLEM Becky Tice March 25 at 8:52am Lusby, MD What is being done about the yard across from the campgrounds? It's been a year since anyone touched the grass out there. That's plenty of time for the HOA to have addressed the problem. I'm sure the mice and snakes have moved in making this a health problem

3 And then more problems Shari Payne It's pretty sad when I look out my front window and see not one but two huge storage containers out there and a so called detached garage ALL full of crap the neighbors will NEVER use again and now the senseless crap is streaming out in the yard and open where everyone can see it! I'm trying to move to go south where it's warmer and where my family is but I will NEVER be able to sell this house with the looks of that neighbor and the neighbor across the street who lives for FREE, has no grass so the cut dirt every summer, broken windows, siding falling off, and bikes and trash everywhere! My kids and I take care of our property and belongings wth?! I even had to install a security system cuz of the TRASH (meaning people) across the street who have people coming and going all hours of the day! My house was robbed this time last year and took ALL the presents I worked hard for and bought for my kids for Christmas! I know they r on drugs and it's sad when ur kids don't even wanna go outside and play with the seven...yes seven kids from the drug house! It's time to move!

4 More problems Dino Rallis Yesterday at 1:01pm Chesapeake Ranch Estates, MD I like living in the ranch club. Its close to work, we have beaches and 99% of the people in the club are good people. Here comes the part that everybody has bitched about at one point or another. I have two neighbors that are slobs. On has tree debris and trees turned over where you can see the bottom of the trees roots from the last hurricane which is in the front yard. His fence is knocked down from a dead tree that has limbs that are falling onto his fence. The other neighbor uses his backyard as a junk yard which I get to look at and recently I went into his yard and gathered up the trash and got rid of it. I don't want to spend the summer looking at car parts and trash. I have reported the one neighbor to the CRE and they told me nothing can be done even though this mess is in plain site from the road. I didn't bother reporting the other slob because his trash is in the back. So let's face it, if the CRE won't do squat about the neighbors house who's mess is in the front, they won't do anything about the slob with the trash in the back. So, what do I do? What is the point of having an HOA if we can't do anything to protect the people who care about there property's? Very frustrating, any advice?

6 And more comments Mary Shifflette Is this something that comes under the county? I had a friend that had a trashy neighbor to the point that the inground pool was full and overflowing. The county gave notices until it was cleared up. Is this CRE or county problem? Just asking. Yesterday at 5:50pm Like Razvan A. Ion The pool i think would become a county issue since its overflowing and more likely green you have health hazards, so if the HOA wouldnt do anything, which i doubt, then im sure the county would step in. Trash and piles would be just hoa since health hazards are lower, depending on what type of trash Pamela Madden And along with what Joanne Bell said - let CRE know you also contacted the health department. Makes me wonder why CRE makes some people follow "rules" but not others. Is it personal relationships? Because they sent me a letter complete with pictures, threatening to fine me, when I had a broken bookshelf and 2 chairs on the side of my driveway for a few days. I had already taken the stuff to the dump the day before I even got the letter in the mail. Were talking about a week total and it was a small amount of stuff that I was able to fit it all in the back of my hatchback. So why is this obvious pick and choose who to/not to sanction going on?

20 BOTTOM LINES GIVEN: There are many laws and rules to keep houses/property in CRE looking good BUT: The county government and POACRE do not fund & staff the budget to execute the laws and rules SO: Why have laws and rules that are not enforced???????? BL: We form a municipality that could make laws, hire staff and be more proactive otherwise we just keep pressure on County & POACRE to have property owners comply with rules/laws!
