4 General This document describes the different methods that you can use to hook your web site to the Avenista Web Reservation. pages. In most scenarios you will be using the restaurant specific web addresses that we provide to you e.g. and its simply a case of adding additional parameters to those links and or the placement of those links within your existing web pages. Two links will be provided. The first link is for the Web Reservations Bookings pages and the second link will be for a Diner registration page to allow diners to register their details with the restaurant for and SMS newsletters. Please note that a more generic Diner Registration link can sometimes be provided if the customer has a group of restaurants and they wish to use a single registration page. As always, If you have any queries on any of these methods then please feel free to call us on and we will be glad to assist. Standalone page The easiest way to integrate is to add a link to the the restaurant specific web address that we provide to you so that when clicked it opens up Avenista web reservations in a new page. This method does have the advantage that the new page displayed is mobile friendly and so you don t need to worry about adding responsive html styles to accommodate the web reservation components. However a potential downside of this method is that the booking process might not feel as intragated into to you existing web site as you may like. We currently offer 3 basic styles to standalone pages and they are detailed later on in this document. We can accommodate a level of specific styling to these pages if required but this is at additional cost. If you are interested in investigating then please give us a call to discuss. 5 IFrame This is the most popular ways integrating into the Avenista Web Reservation pages. It allows the pages to look fully integrated into your site. Example code for using an IFrame tag is shown below: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" " <html xmlns=" <head> <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title>belview Restaurants</title> </head> <body> <form id="form1" runat="server"> <div> <iframe src=" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" width="320" height="370" scrolling="auto"/> </div> </form> </body> </html> Please note the following about the above tag: The frame size is set to a width of 320px and a height of 370px The view parameter is set to minimal so that the headers and footers are not displayed If you would like your web page background to show through around the Avenista controls then you need to set the allowtransparency parameter to true and set the theme parameter to one of the supported transparency styles detailed later in this document. The example above is using the uilight-t transparency style Web Services We also provide the ability to make Web reservations through our Web Services. This method provides the most flexibility and allows you to design and host your own web pages to tailor your customers booking experience how you want. There is an additional cost for the use of this service and so if you are interested in this method then please give us a call to discuss.

Transparancy styles These styles are designed to be used when using a transparent IFrame and allow your underlying web page background to show around the web reservation components to give a more

6 Styling The Web Pages General We currently offer 6 different sytles to the Avenista web pages. Please note that we can accommodate a level of specific styling to these pages if required but this is at additional cost. Transparancy styles These styles are designed to be used when using a transparent IFrame and allow your underlying web page background to show around the web reservation components to give a more intragated feel to the booking process. The samples shown below use simple colour backgrounds but far more dramatic effects can be achieved using graphical backgrounds. mono-t This is a monochrome style with a text colour of black and so this style will work best with lighter backgrounds: Basic Style Sample Backgrounds

8 Basic styles These styles are designed to be used when using a standalone page or pop up to display the Avenista web pages. base This is a monochrome style and is the default style for the web pages. If you do not append a theme= parameter to the restaurant specific web address tehn this is the syle that is shown: uidark This is a black style on a black background with white text:
