Analyst As an Accenture Analyst you will have the opportunity to work with high-profile clients and contribute to projects in crucial ways that make a real visible impact on our business. Graduates The Analyst Consulting Group (ACG) brings together training, peer group support and a diversity of live projects. The experiences you gain will help to equip you with the insights to deliver commercial benefits in management and technology consulting. After two or three years as part of the ACG, you ll be ready for promotion to the next level, where you ll be in a position to decide where in the company your future lies. Within our Consulting Graduate Programme, we have a specialist Analytics stream devoted to building the Data Scientists of tomorrow. Karen Consulting Graduate Programme I graduated from the University Limerick with a Science Education degree. The variety of work on offer and the opportunity to learn from skilled colleagues is what drew me to Accenture. Starting salary 31,000 Consultant Manager As a Consultant, you will have increased responsibility in managing the delivery of key milestones and leading a portion of a project. You will have the opportunity to start learning and putting into practice key leadership skills and also client relationship building. Upon joining Accenture, you ll become part of a team of IT specialists working with some of the world s best-known companies at the front of their field in virtually every industry. Carol Accenture Technology Group While promotions are based on performance; below is an overview of how your six year Accenture career path could look... Associate Software Engineer Software Engineer Senior Software Engineer Team Lead As an Associate Software Engineer you will gain on-the-job experience, possibly in the area of programming and/or testing, with real life clients as well as in-house training. As a Software Engineer, the role will be more technically focussed and you will develop skills in methodologies and software delivery lifecycle that will enable you to work efficiently in a global organisation. You will produce and schedule coding and testing, and coach the junior software engineers (JSEs) to deliver the work. As a Senior Software Engineer, you ll do the hands-on technology work to ensure Accenture delivers innovative technology solutions to clients. You will be responsible for estimating, planning and scheduling project tasks. You will lead and coach the software engineers (ASEs and SEs) to deliver the work. As a Team Lead you will require fresh thinking and a positive, results-oriented approach as you lead your team to deliver projects. 8 13 14 Internships The best way to find out what it s like to work at Accenture is to try it out. We have a range of placement durations between three and twelve months. This really is a great opportunity for you to get to know us, while developing your skills and knowledge on live projects, experiencing real challenges and making new friends and connections. Training and Development Once you join us as an intern, you will become part of our official intern development programme which allows you the opportunity to set your own objectives and drive your performance in soft skills, knowledge, applications and abilities. Review sessions throughout your internship will track your progress against your targets and open up further opportunities to maximise your potential during your time with us. What we look for To join the Consulting Internship, you need to have over 400 Leaving Cert points and be on track for a 2:1 in your degree. For our Accenture Technology Group Internship, you must have over 300 Leaving Cert points and be predicted a 2:2 in a Computer Science or technology-based degree. During your time with us, you ll see first-hand why Accenture is such a great place to work, and how much we want you to succeed. You ll receive a generous salary and the opportunity to automatically progress directly to the final interview stage of our Graduate Programmes. The opportunities and roles offered to interns are fantastic, Accenture encourages you to develop both your skillset and professional network through training and activities which run throughout the internship. Outside of my project work I have been involved in working with the Corporate Citizenship team to create a video to showcase Accenture s volunteer work and have been involved in clubs including tag rugby. Accenture Technology Group 1 First round An online logical reasoning test Application The application form is your chance to give us details of your experience, educational background, extra-curricular activities and most importantly why you want to join Accenture. After submitting your online application, our screening team will review it and, if successful, you will be moved to the first round interview.
