2 Introduction This profile provides an overview of Architects Pacific - our history, approach to architecture, key staff, and a selection of relevant projects. We offer our clients our extensive experience working in New Zealand, Australia, China and most other Pacific Island and Pacific Rim countries, in all industry sectors. 3 Background Architects Pacific Ltd (AP) was established in Fiji in 1971, and has a portfolio of award winning work throughout the Pacific and Pacific rim. Our aim is to create buildings that are comfortable, efficient, cost effective, long lasting and culturally identifiable. We believe that references to ancient knowledge, culture and specialist skills are an integral part of the evolution of modern architecture. AP provide a full range of architectural services, from master planning to design, documentation and construction supervision. AP s experience of tropical architecture means they are cognoscent of sustainable building practices at all times. The balance between capital costs and on-going running and maintenance costs is considered throughout the entire design process. AP create positive working relationships with all participants in the design and building process. A collaborative approach achieves the best possible outcome for the client. Effective management, communication and operating systems enhance our capacity to deliver projects in a timely & responsible manner. The quality of AP design has been recognised by a very large portfolio of awards. Nomination for the Pritzker Prize, acknowledged as the most prestigious international architectural award, for the Forum Secretariat in Suva, illustrates that the work is of the very highest international standards. 4 Key Personnel Stuart Huggett - Managing Director A registered architect in the UK, Australia, Fiji and NZ, Stuart s desire to meet and surpass the expectation of his clients is the primary motivation for his work. Stuart has designed a vast number of buildings during his career, and has recently added a considerable portfolio of master planning work to his experience, most recently in China and Nepal. He works best surrounded by a team of enthusiastic participants, and has successfully built a network of respected colleagues throughout the Pacific. Significant projects include Zhuhai, China Huafa Eco Manor, China Fushun Alpine Resort, China Momi Bay, Fiji Taunovo Bay, Fiji Marriott North Ryde, Sydney Westin Denarau, Fiji Gilly Huggett - Director Gilly Huggett is co-founder of AP, and has a pivotal role in the company, providing both architectural critique and project management expertise. Gilly drives the documentation and site supervision stages of a project, either personally or by keeping close to project staff. She also administers the company. Kami Vuadreu - Senior Architect Kami did his architectural training in New Zealand, and is a registered architect in Fiji. He has worked for AP for many years, and has led a number of very successful projects. His project management during site works ensure client satisfaction with the resulting projects. Significant projects include Sigatoka Hospital extension, Fiji Reserve Bank refurbishment, Fiji Holiday Inn, Vanuatu Left: Completed villa, Huafa Eco-Manor. This ambitious mixed use development incorporated traditional Chinese building forms into contemporary residential villas. Working closely with the landscape architects resulted in a highly desirable environment, evidenced by the financial success of the project.

5 Key Personnel Nicola Vuetilovoni - Project manager & practice manager, Suva Nicola is an experienced architectural assistant who qualified in Melbourne. She has worked in a number of roles at Architects Pacific for a number of years, and is practice manager, Suva. As practice manager she coordinates the allocation of staff to various projects and prepares submissions for new work, in addition to input into specific projects as required. During the Laucala project Nicola was AP site manager during the critical finishing stages of this world-class resort. Ngaire Wallen - Landscape design, project management & office administration, New Zealand Ngaire joined Architects Pacific 4 years ago, and undertakes landscape work on various projects. A complete plan for the 15 hectare Holiday Inn Vanuatu was her first project with Architects Pacific. Recent projects include the Reserve Bank of Fiji podium refurbishment and a hotel project in Nepal, both currently under construction.
