3 Available treatments Facial Veins/Rosacea Small red veins on the face are a very common problem. They can be unsightly and distressing in many cases, causing flushing, blushing and sensitive skin. Our Gemini laser offers the latest technology in the treatment of this and other red lesions on the face and body. Diffuse redness and pigmentation Now you can address multiple areas and a wide range of skin concerns in a single procedure with our Lumenis M22. A safe, gentle in-office treatment with minimal downtime, Lumenis IPL can be used on men and women to reduce redness and remove spots and discolouration on face, neck, décolletage and hands. The M22 can be customised to your individual needs and skin type. Brown/Age Spots Freckles and sunspots or liver spots are pigmented lesions that can develop over time, as a result of exposure to the sun s UV rays, especially on the hands and face. At Laserway on Davey we have the Revlite Q-Switched YAG laser and the Erbium YAG laser to help us in the treatment of any unwanted spots. Another treatment option for sun damage is Photodynamic Therapy. This uses a photosensitizing drug (ALA), activated by a light source, to destroy the damaged cells, promoting the regeneration of healthy skin cells. Leg vein treatments Family history, prolonged standing or sitting, pregnancy and time can lead to veins on the legs. These can be small spider veins increasing to large varicose veins all can be unsightly and some can cause serious medical issues as we age. Our medical team can assess your condition and advise on all available treatment options. We specialise in sclerotherapy or injection treatment. 4 Tattoo removal Tattoos are very common at the moment and we often see multiple tattoos on one person. Circumstances may change and these tattoos can become no longer relevant or desired, especially if they are in an exposed area. Tattoo removal can be very successful. It does involve multiple treatments, depending on the age and colour of the tattoo. At Laserway on Davey we have the latest Revlite Q-Switched Nd: YAG laser which is state of the art for tattoo removal. Ask us about the costs. Hair removal Unwanted hair can be a problem for any age. Facial hair is a serious issue for women. The convenience of our hair removal laser for all areas, including underarms, bikini line, legs, men s backs etc make it a worthwhile and rewarding investment. All treatments work best with dark hair. Ask us about our DUET hair removal system it s large spot size and innovative technology make hair removal faster and much less painful great for large areas. Frowns and wrinkles Frown lines, crow s feet and lines on the forehead are issues most of us face as we age. If you would like to decrease these to give a more relaxed, happier appearance, we have proven, safe injectable treatments available. Loss of volume in the face can lead to lines around the nose, mouth and chin in men and women and can cause a saggy/jowly appearance or just an older look than we want. Safe, volume replacing injectables are available here. Also available, fractional, non ablative ResurFX laser for treatment of scars, wrinkles and stretchmarks. Eyelid reduction surgery Eyelid reduction surgery is an effective rejuvenating procedure with high satisfaction rates among patients. During this procedure the Doctor makes an incision in the crease of the upper eyelid skin, above your lashes, and the excess skin is removed. The incision is sewn together under the skin with very small sutures and usually heals quickly with a minimally noticeable scar. Sutures are removed in a few days. This procedure is also available to address excess skin in the lower eyelid area. The procedure is done under a local anaesthetic.

5 Skin rejuvenation Each season takes a toll on the skin. The Tasmanian sun is especially harsh but cold and wind can also affect the skin. This, combined with the drying out of our skin as we age, can cause skin to become dull and lifeless. We offer a range of services such as peels and microdermabrasions to freshen and rejuvenate the skin. Our Revlite Q-Switched Nd: Yag laser can also stimulate the deeper layers in the skin to produce collagen and help with tightening and decreasing some wrinkles. Lines / scars / stretch marks ResurFX fractional laser non-ablative skin resurfacing This advanced technology produces multiple tiny heat zones in the dermis, without disrupting the skin surface, to stimulate collagen production. This can be used to improve wrinkles, lines, acne scars, stretch marks or for skin rejuvenation. Low Level Light Therapy with LED (LED LLLT) Our patients have enjoyed the benefits of our Medical Strength Omnilux light therapy system for many years. We also have the Healite II by Lutronic, providing the next generation in LED Phototherapy. Healite is a medical treatment technique, using low level light therapy (LLLT) high powered NASA LEDs, at specific wavelengths increase local blood circulation for improved skin healing, reduction in both skin and musculoskeletal inflammation, pain relief, reduction in active acne and promoting skin rejuvenation. It can be combined with the M22 IPL to address superficial concerns such as redness and pigmentation, while the ResurFX is stimulating collagen in the deeper layers. Tightening Our Endymed tightening device uses latest technology radiofrequency to stimulate collagen. It has two techniques, a facial tightening handpiece for improving skin tone around the eyes, cheeks and neck and the Intensif micro needling system which is great for rejuvenating face, décolletage and hands.
