3 1. INSTALL THE BOX VIA ETHERNET 1. Connect your IPTV box to your internet via Ethernet cable 2. Connect your IPTV box to your TV via HDMI or AV Cable 3. Select your input on your TV 4. Connect power cable to IPTV box When you turn on your box, please allow the box to validate - it will only take a few min. CONNECTING TO USB (WI-FI) If you have purchased our supported USB (wireless) please follow these guidelines: 1 Connect your IPTV box to your USB stick/antenna (Front or Back) 2 Connect your IPTV box to your TV 3 Connect Power cable to your IPTV Box 4 Let your box load (2-3 min) the box will show Page Loading Error Go to System Settings Press network, choose wireless (WIFI) press auto (DHCP) and press scan Your wireless internet connection should appear - enter you access code 8 Now you return to System settings go to Reboot Portal and press OK 9 Press try again 10 Your connection via wireless should now work Video tutorial Connecting the box via USB (Wi-Fi): 24visions.com 3

5 3. RECORDING SOFTWARE L ogin with the username and password provided via from 24Visions. Then you will be able to see a + next to each program. Press the + on the program you wish to record, the page will refresh and you will see a clock/watch your program has now been set to record. If you already see a clock/watch this program has already been set to record by another user. You can access the recordings in our database by doing the following: When watching TV press the MENU button on your remote for your IPTV Box Then you will be on the main page with menu TV chosen Press the arrow to the right on your remote so that VIDEO CLUB gets centered and press OK on ALL Now you have entered the database, here you can choose from the list and press OK on your remote. You can stop, pause, fast forward etc on the arrows on your IPTV box remote. To exit the chosen recording, press EXIT on your remote - should you wish to EXIT the database completely - please press EXIT one more time. When you return to Video Club main page, press the arrow to go left so TV is centered again press ALL with OK button and you are back to live/delayed TV Video tutorial How to use the recording function: 24visions.com 4

6 4. CATCH-UP C atch-up is an extension of our existing recording mode, but made even easier for you. We automatically record all programs for you and you can by your remote control watch programs when you have the time and inclination. In the Channel list you can see if there is Catch-Up on the channel by the small clock next to the channel name. If there is a small clock, you can from the channel list tap the arrow to the right and you now have access to the last 7 days recordings. To the left you see the day and date, and to the right programs. You choose the day you want with the arrow keys on the remote and press OK. Then you select program and press with ok. Simple and easy. 5. SEARCH FUNCTION IN VIDEO CLUB Y ou can search for a specific program in the video club by pressing the blue button (F4) on your remote, choose search and insert the program title and press OK. When the program(s) have been found, you need to exit the search function by pressing EXIT on your remote. Now you can chose the recording by using the arrows up and down. Press OK on your remote to start viewing the recorded program! 24visions.com 5

7 6. CREATE YOUR OWN FAVORITE CHANNELS With the IPTV box it s possible to create a list of your most viewed programs. It s fast and easy to do. You simply need to follow these few steps: Press the OK button on your remote to access the channel list You will see four colors at the button of your screen Red (F1), Green (F2), Yellow (F3) and Blue (F4) Simply stand on each channel and press the yellow button (F3) on your remote to add them to your favorite list. A yellow star will be added to the channel on your list. When you have chosen the channels for your favorite list you press the green button (F2) and choose favorite. Now the only list you see is with your favorite channels. Should you wish to return to the original again, simply press the green button (F2) again and chose by numbers + info. You can always delete your favorite channels, simply by pressing the yellow button (F3) 24visions.com 6

8 7. ADJUST SCREEN U se the button showing a screen and 4 arrows in the bottom left corner on the remote. Keep pressing the same button until the desired screen is found! 8. UPDATE SOFTWARE You can access the software update by doing following: When watching TV press the MENU button on your remote for your IPTV Box Then you will be on the main page with menu TV chosen Press the arrow to the right on your remote until you reach settings, choose Software Update. 9. MAKE A PING TEST I f you have problems with the TV signal, it is in most cases the internet. In order to test the consistency of your internet, you can make a ping test. You need to use the cmd (comandopromt) and type the following when window appears. In Europe use: ping rel1-2.european-iptv.com t In Spain use: ping rel4.european-iptv.com t Your ms should not exceed 100 however we have seen that user have one near The most important is that it s running continuously ( ) Only 20 ms apart and that there is no timeout. 9 10. HOW TO CONFIGURE THE BOX 1. Connect MAG 250 s to Ethernet of wifi cable. 2. Connect MAG 250 s to power 3. Connect via HDMI/VA cable to the TV, so monitor updates. The MAG 250 s will perform 2 software updates, you don t need to do anything 4. The MAG 250 s will restart after both updates. Here you go to settings and choose System settings. 5. Choose: servers 6. Then General and write pool.ntp.org in the NTP server and exit 7. Go to portals and the write the following in Portal 1 URL: portal1.tv 8. Press exit twice and reboot portal 9. MAG will now reload and you will see the yellow bar loading the channels list. When it s finished loading, the TV Screen will to BLACK press enter or OK on your REMOTE. 10. Now you will see the channel list without any channels and it says contact support! 11. Inform us the mac.nr on the box ([email protected]) and we will activate it. 12. Press the MENU/Esc on keyboard Arrow left until you find SETTINGS and press enter/ok 13. Choose Localization Choose Country, Choose City (enter where client lives) press ok an the button. 14. You will no return to Settings scroll down and chose reload Portal 15. MAG will now reload and load yellow bar again When Screen turns black Please press Esc/OK on remote Now you will see chosen city in top right corner. 10 11. PAGE LOADING ERROR W hen you get the message page loading error on your screen the problems is normally the internet, please check following: 1. The internet is connected correctly. 2. If you still have problems, turn off your router and box. After 30 seconds turn the box and router on again. 3. If you use Wi-Fi, please check that the Wi-Fi has been connected correctly (Wi-Fi on) and does your IP address appear. If not, try to connect the box with Ethernet cable at the same time and when IP address appears Wi-Fi should be connected. 4. Another problem can be that you have not inserted the correct URL. It should be portal1.tv 12. RADIO When watching TV press the MENU button on your remote for your IPTV Box Then you will be on the main page with menu TV chosen Press the arrow to the right on your remote so that RADIO gets centered, choose program and press OK To exit the chosen radio program, press EXIT on your remote When you return to RADIO main page, press the arrow to go left so TV is centered again press ALL with OK button and you are back to live/delayed TV Contact Information Mon-Sun [email protected] 24visions.com 9
