2 Principles guiding SP PPE Requirements: Only Generic PPE (Allows entry on to site) will be prescribed in the SPSM Approach. Maximum standardisation of PPE requirements on a regional basis Own Service Provider company on PPE Driven by a global technical specifications (EN, ANSI etc) As opposed to: Task specific PPE which is determined by the risk assessment (Gloves, face shield, fall protection, electrical PPE, HP cleaning etc.) Global standardisation Regional / entities developing own standards Sasol branded PPE being worn by service providers Regional standards 2
