4 Casement The casement window is proven to be the most efficient, operating window on the market today. Using bulb seals, extruded seals, and Truth Encore Hardware this window combines simple elements to produce a great looking window that rarely requires service. Features Triple weather sealing system A combination of two bulb seals along with an extruded seal that is attached to the sash frame. The extruded seal allows vacuum-type tightness allowing better energy efficiency than brush seals. Truth Encore Hardware The industry s most reliable and attractive operating mechanism. The contoured face-plate allows for an almost completely hidden handle. Name-brand recognition and a proven ability to last decade after decade. Heavy Duty Lock & Load Screens Window-Pro has designed a better casement screen with no side pins. 5 Awning The awning window is best thought of as the sister window to the casement. Although awning windows are made from the same sash frame as a casement there are a few noticeable differences that can be positive, or negative depending on the requirement. Awning windows have the potential to be your saving grace, or least favourite relative depending on how you place them in your home. 10 Fixed Casement The fixed casement is designed specifically to match with operating casement windows. Many customers do not wish to have every window in their house open; preferring the clean finish of glass inside and out. The fixed casement, or sometimes referred to as a high profile window is contoured the same way as an operating casement to maximum style and allow for identical frame sizes to allow paired and groups of windows to look great without forcing the customer to have all windows operational. Slim Fixed The slim fixed window design is done to match up with the slimmer slider and hung frames. This allows classic styles where a picture window over a sliding window matches completely to allow balance and symmetry throughout the home. A slim fixed window would be what most people call a picture window today. Maximizing glass space, slim fixed windows allow the focus to remain on your view, not the window itself. 9

11 Bow and Bay Windows Add value and style to your home with beautifully custom built bow, or bay windows. Bow & Bay windows are generally situated in the front of homes for maximum style and effect. Let your friends and family be impressed by the added space and seating space a bow, or bay can add to your home. Bay Windows Bay windows tend to have a larger picture window in the centre along with either one, or both sides being opening casement, or hung windows. Usually built with either 30, or 45 degree angles there truly is no limit to the size, depth, and style of a beautifully crafted Window-Pro bay window. Bow Windows Bow & Bay Options Add grills of all finishes and sizes, pencil to flat, don t be afraid to accent and customize your Window-Pro Bay, or Bow window. Finish your inside with mahogany, or oak to create an elegant wood finish. Customize your projection according to your wants, big, or small. Bow windows have smaller angles of 10 to 15 degrees adding a semi-circle look to break-up flat front houses. Bow windows tend to be a modern favourite for larger openings due to the rounded, or bowed look and an allowance for less severe angles. The most common bow windows are five to six panels, but occasionally custom seven panel bows have been known to dominate an entire room with their elegance and ability to work with almost all home styles and sizes. 10

23 Manufacturer s Warranty Against defects in material and workmanship, as specified under this Warranty, occuring as a direct result of the manufacturing process, for the following product parts and components during the stated time period, under normal use and service, subject to the terms and conditions contained in this Warranty Warranty Factory Customer Up to 30 years 100% 0% 30 to 35 years 80% 20% Over 35 years 25% 75% 20 YEARS NON-PRORATED LIMITED GLASS WAR- RANTY Window Pro warranties under normal conditions, material obstruction of vision from film formation or dust collection between the interior glass surfaces will not occure within 20 years from the date of installation. CONDITION NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY A) If the material is damaged during handling or installation B) Any liabilities of any nature for unsatisfactory performance caused by faulty workmanship in installation. C) Any damage caused by settlement of building, failure of structure (including foundation or walls), fire, wind, lightning and other acts of God, intentional acts, or unreasonable use, accidental damage and negligence, improper care, normal weathering or exposure to harmful chemicals or vapors, may overtime, result in minor discolouration. D) If the unit is cracked or broken or the original 20 years limited warranty has expired. E) If the unit is subject to stress resulting from localized heat causing excessive temperature differential over the glass surface or from excessive vibration or moving of the building or it s foundations. F) If the unit is installed without proper provision for adequate expansion or contraction of the framing members. LIMITATIONS OF MATERIAL, INSULATED GLASS, AND HARDWARE WARRANTIES Window Pro s liability is limited solely and exclusively to repair or replacement of any components that are deemed to be defective. Replacement or repair of the defective parts is carried out at the sole option of Window Pro. Under no circumstances will Window Pro be liable for incidental or consequential charges such as, but not limited to, labour costs for any purpose, inconvenience, damage or injury to persons or to property or any other expense. REPLACEMENT PARTS OR REPAIR Window Pro reserves the right to discontinue or change any window as currently manufactured. If window Pro determines to make a replacement under the terms of this limited warrenty and an exact replacement part is unavailable, Window Pro reserves the right to substitute a part or parts of equal quality at it s sole option. OBTAINING PERFORMANCE OF THIS WARRANTY Window Pro requires the certificate of installation to be mailed during a period of no longer than 30 days from the date of installation. Window Pro reserves the right to field inspect a defective part or unit. Upon discovery of the purchaser or any suspected defective component, the purchaser shall contact Window Pro by registered mail at the address listed at the top of the warranty. Please tag the letter attention: Warranty Claims. All claims must have the original Window Pro invoice number along with the size and style of the problematic window. Defective units or parts must be returned to Window Pro at the expense of the purchaser. Replacement parts or units are F.O.B. Window Pro s Factory. MAINTENANCE & CLEANING The surfaces of the Window Pro window will over time collect a layer of surface dust. Normal dusting with a damp cloth will remove this accumulation of surface dust. If you with to do a more thorough cleaning of the windows, the following procedure should be followed: Vinyl - A mild solution of household liquid cleaner, such as dishwashing detergent may be used. For stubborn stains, cleaner such as Fantastic or VIM may be used. Caution: Do not use harsh abrasives on vinyl. 22
