FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHT: The Dodgers tonight continue a sevengame homestand (0-1) with the second of four games against the Milwaukee Brewers, following an 8-6 loss last night. Los Angeles trails the Giants by 6.5 games in the National League West. After the fourgame set with Milwaukee, the Dodgers will host the National League East-leading Washington Nationals for three games next week. The Dodgers took two of three from the Brewers at home last season, but Milwaukee is an MLB-best 15-7 at Chavez Ravine since The Brewers are one of just three NL clubs (Phillies and Marlins) with a winning record in Los Angeles over that time. After a six-run effort in the loss last night, the Dodgers are now 11-2 at home this season when scoring at least four runs. Tonight is Filipino Heritage Night and, as part of the festivities, apl.de.ap from the Black Eyed Peas will throw the ceremonial first pitch while Levy Restaurants will offer the Pinoy Dog, featuring an all-beef hot dog topped with diced spam and pineapple, Sabretts onions in sauce and chicharrones. SLIGHT BUMP IN THE ROAD: The Dodger bullpen had a tough go of it last night, allowing five runs in 5.0 innings, but still ranks third in the National League in A: Bullpen A, 2016 NL New York Mets 3.12 Washington Nationals 3.12 Los Angeles Dodgers 3.16 (73 /208.0 IP) Adam Liberatore has not allowed a run in his last 14 games (9.0 IP) since May 20 and has tossed scoreless relief in 27 of 28 appearances this year. He is limiting opposing hitters to a.191 batting avg., including a.125 mark (5-for-40) vs. lefties. Joe Blanton ranks among NL relievers in opponents batting average (.134, 2 nd ) and WHIP (0.70, T-1 st ). GETTING BETT ALL THE TIME: Dodger rookie starter Julio Urías had his best big league outing last time out, allowing two runs on four hits in 5.1 innings Sunday in San Francisco. Urías was cruising into the sixth inning, before allowing a two-run homer to the Giants Brandon Belt, his only mistake. The left-hander struck out seven and walked just one, giving him 18 strikeouts and just three walks in his last three starts. The native of Sinaloa, Mexico, is averaging strikeouts per nine innings in his four starts this season while limiting left-handers to a.200 average (5-for-25). Tomorrow morning, Urias and Dodger reliever J.P. Howell will help the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) dedicate its 43rd and 44th Dodgers Dreamfields at Belvedere Park in East L.A. More than 400 pre-selected youngsters from the Dodgers RBI program at Belvedere Park will be on hand for tomorrow s event which includes a youth baseball clinic conducted by the two players and Dodger alumni. The program begins at 10:30 a.m. and the clinic gets underway at 11:30 a.m. Dodgers Dreamfields at Belvedere Park partners include the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation, LA84 Foundation, NIKE, Security Benefit and Supervisor Hilda L. Chase Utley reached base twice last night, but failed to cross the plate with run No. 1,000 in his career.
