4 01 The Prospectus for the Establishment of the Korean-American Heritage Foundation We are living in a time where diversity and multiculturalism coexist. We, the Koreans are a proud nation who has a historical language, culture and tradition that is based upon proper etiquette. We have the self esteem and a sense of responsibility to spread our culture and traditions of our ancestors to the younger generations to help them develop into a respectable citizen. The Korean American Heritage Foundation is starting a movement or exercise saying Love Korean, and love Korean tradition. The loves the Korean language, and we have a mission to inform the world of the Korean culture. This work will give Koreans a sense of self esteem and pride. This opportunity will give Koreans a reason to be actively involved in American society.

6 03 *we held a Great Conference at the Riverside Church, invited a special guest Paul Shin, who is a Washington State Senator *KAHF staff met to prepare for Education Budget with Robert Jackson, who is a chairman of New York City Council Committee on Education. *We opened Korean Teacher s Training Program on June 29, 2012 August 31, *We held on January 9 February 6, 2013, National Korean Language Institute (Head of Korean government for Korean Language) selected KAHF as an official organization in the world. *the U.S. government recognized that The Educational Institute was established on August 15, *We presented for our project at the New York State senator Bill Perkins office, they are happy to support KAHF for Korean language and Culture Class. *we are chosen by King Sejong Institute of Korean Government. They will support to us for non-korean students about Korean Language and Culture Classes at the Riverside Church. On February 1-7, 2012 we held Lunar New Year Korean Festival at PS 111X and Bronx Charter School. *APCEIU had chosen our organization as a ROK-USA Teacher Exchange Program in November 7, 2012

7 02 5 Educate Korean Teachers We are also a Foundation that will professionally educate our teachers to be able to effectively teach Korean in non-korean schools not only in the Bronx but also other public schools. 4 Globalized Korea We are a Foundation that wants to unify the world, and through our works such as a Multicultural Festival, we will be able to connect with people, men and women of all ages as well as other cultures like a connection hook. We also inform people that the Korean culture is a rich culture and a chance to be able to connect with other cultures. 3 Korean Traditional Festival For the second and third generation Korean-Americans and the future generations to come; while learning Korean traditional culture we will also have a Korean Traditional Festival that will help students learn proper etiquette and also feel a sense pride and identity. 1 Qualified Foundation We are a qualified foundation that is supported by the state, Federal Government, and other organizations for the idea of adopting a Korean language course in public, private, and charter schools in America. 2 Target We target grades (K-12), and also we are a Foundation that will disseminate good manners through Korean Traditional Culture. We are so proud of non-korean students for the behavior change through the Korean Language and Culture Classes. This foundation trains Korean teacher with quality and excellent training skills and emissions
