We treat your film as if it was our own, taking special care in the preparation of the conversion. Since 2005, we have been serving all of your film conversion needs in the Largo, Florida and Tampa Bay area. At the present time we do not convert Super 8mm with sound. We use a subcontractor for these films. This means we do not have any control over the cost or the time it takes to convert the film and make the DVDs. Our first step in transferring 8mm film to DVD is the cleaning process. As we are cleaning your film we inspect and repair any broken splices. We use a special cleaning cloth with cleaning fluid to remove the dust and lubricate the film. The next step in the process is to convert the film to a digital file. That digital format file is then edited to delete all totally dark and white sections. This is where we differ from most other companies as they only provide a straight transfer with no editing. We also differ by being in contact with you when there are any issues noted while doing the editing to make sure that we get it right. We color enhance the movie file then create a DVD movie from that file. Want to do your own editing? We can create.avi and.mpeg (four types) and five other file type files for you to edit your own movies.

In addition to all that we do, we create a backup copy in case you lose or damage your copy. Even if you decide to have additional copies made in the future, you will have a free backup. With this backup copy you can rest assured that your memories will be there for you. Let us take your slides sitting in boxes and give them life in the format of a DVD movie or as files so you can print the slides you want to print. We clean your slides with a soft camel-hair brush and then with soft but effective compressed air pressure to remove any fine dust or debris. The slides are then converted capturing the entire negative. We use software filters to enhance them one slide at a time. Each one is inspected to make any exposure corrections and color enhancements. After they have been converted they are put back in the same order and containers that we received them in. We also make a backup copy in case you lose or damage your copy or decide to order copies in the future. Either way, you can rest assured that your memories will be there.

For those of you who still have some, we also convert 8 Track tapes to CD. Still have 78, 33 1/3 or 45 rpm records? Maybe it is time to get them preserved as well.
