DO NOT wait until you have deplaned or in baggage check. The group must move fast to meet the guide waiting in the arrival hall. Meet & Greet at Airport by English Speaking Assistant For the Bellas arriving from Atlanta and land only, after you collect your luggage and clear customs you will me met in the Arrivals Hall by an Assistant holding a sign Bella Italia Group. You will be escorted to a restaurant where you can order coffee or a light breakfast while waiting for the JFK Bellas arrival. Please be mindful to have your check paid for by 9:30am, to be prepared for departure at 10:00 am to meet the JFK Flight. Do not leave this area and wander around the airport. If you are not at the restaurant when the group departs to meet the JFK flight, you will not be searched for. If you missed the transfer you will be responsible for your arrangements to the hotel. Do not wait to the last min. to go the restroom. 1

Do not forget your Metro pass and sight sheet (sending next week) Meet English Speaking Guide Meet your local guide for a tour of St. Peters Basilica. 10:30am After your tour, you will break into two groups. Those that booked the Optional tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel will stay with the local guide and Theresa. The others will go with Fleace Optional Tour (Group B) = 25 Bellas (Names on next to last page) Private Vatican Museum, Vatican Gardens and Sistine Chapel Tour Theresa will meet the group at the end of tour and your local guide will depart. Don t forget to tip your guide. Suggested tipping rates at the end. Theresa will take you by bus to the Rome Termini. Make sure you have your passport and have 2 color print outs of your Florence city map at Train to Florence Please bring snacks or visit the food car before arriving in Florence. You will not have time to eat until after the city orientation tour. 09:17am Meet local guide at train station When your train arrives you will meet a local guide for a City Orientation Tour. She will first walk the group to buy tickets to see David later in the day. I would suggest trying for a 12 noon time slot. To save time everyone should give their money one person to buy the group ticket. For those wanting ride bicycles, the guide will walk you to the shop at the end of the tour. You can have the bikes for up to 2 hours to explore Florence on your own. You will split into two groups and depart on a 1 hour tour including Vaparetto lessons from train station to San Marco Square ending at a Gondola pier. Free time on own to explore Venice Meet at the meeting point You will all meet up and walk across the Rialto Bridge and take the vaporetto to the train station area of Venice Early Dinner or more Free Time near train station (nice shop and vendor nearby) If you don t eat during either of your free times. Grab Bagged Breakfast at hotel at front desk and depart for Pompeii. Depart Rome (sleepy time on the bus. Have that travel pillow ready! I also suggest bringing a hat or your travel umbrella as there is no shade at all in Pompeii. Depart Pompeii Please do not try to shop at the stands, not even for drinks! Every extra minute in Pompeii will cause less time spend in Naples. Pompeii vendors are a tourist trap. Anything purchased there can be found in Naples or Sorrento cheaper! Lunch in Naples Pizza Brandi home of the Pizza Margherita Free time in Naples to shop Depart Naples Be back in front of Brandi ON TIME! The food is okay at best, but the WINES are worth a visit. 12 Sept 2012 Sorrento 10:00am Breakfast from 7:00am to 10:00am Optional Wine tasting and Lunch = 27 Bellas (Names on next to last page) Be in the lobby and depart Depart Sorrento and Head towards Mt. Vesuvius with our local assistant and private coach. After your our day out at the winery we will relax as our coach driver delivers us back to our hotel for free time Free day for anyone not doing the Wine tasting. Head back into Sorrento or catch some sun rays poolside, or on the hotel s private beach OR DO BOTH! :) 13 Sept 2012 Sorrento 09:15am 09:30am Breakfast from 7:00am to 10:00am Depart for the Optional Cooking Class = 20 Bellas (Names on next to last page) Be in the lobby and depart Depart for the Optional Snorkelling tour (Names on next to last page) Everyone else enjoy a day of leisure. Bagged breakfast will be at the front desk (All ground only, please remember this is a courtesy transfer and you MUST be on this bus or make your own arrangements to the airport). Bus #1 Depart Hotel Bus #1 transfer to the Rome Airport with Fleace Arrive Rome Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) Airport 05:00am 06:00am (sharp) 09:30am ALL JFK BOUND Be completely checked out and start moving toward the front gate. Bagged breakfast will be at the front desk Bus #2 Depart Hotel Bus #2 Transfer to the Rome Airport with Tamara (this will be a smaller bus). Sorry no one from bus #1 can transfer to this bus. Arrive Rome Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) Airport CIAO BELLAS! FINO A L ANNO PROSSIMO! See you next year! Those with later departure may consider taking the train from the airport into the city. In the main train station you can check your bags. It is manned, you get a ticket/receipt that you show when you go and collect your luggage. It was very busy when I was there last September. I had to wait about 30 minutes, so allow plenty of time to collect your bags and return to the airport! AIRLINE CONTACT Prior to the departure date, please contact Fleace. If you have any problems at the airport before 10:00am PST, please call our air broker, Catrina, on her mobile phone This number cannot be used at any other time. Between 10:00am and 12:30pm PST, please call Fleace s number at , the phone will forward to someone that can help you. 10 TIPPING GUIDELINES Our tours include all taxes and service charges. However, tips and gratuities help insure a good relationship between the service providers and the group while on tour.
