1 School of Education-Graduate Advising Room 438, College of Professional Studies University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Stevens Point, WI Phone: Fax: Address: Working Copy for the Master of Science in Education-General Education (Option B) Early Education and Early Childhood Special Education Graduate Program of Study Submit this Working Copy to the address listed above. Guidelines are provided throughout this document to assist you. As you prepare your Working Copy, consider your current teaching position and your professional goals and objectives. Then complete this Working Copy, listing those courses which will enhance your background and training as an educator. The Working Copy is a tentative program outline to be discussed with your advisor, Dr. Patricia Caro. In your program, you may include an array of graduate level courses taught at the participating institutions associated with this Early Education and Early Childhood Special Education program. Transfer credits (those from institutions other than UWSP) must be approved for inclusion in the masters program by collaboratively meeting with Dr. Caro either in person, by phone call, or by . Courses from the array listed below do not need transfer forms. An Application for the Transfer Credits form for other courses from institutions of higher education other than UWSP and not on the list below must be completed. Submit that application and the required supporting documentation to School of Education-Graduate Advising for review and consideration by the Director of Graduate Studies. A seven-year time limit (21 inclusive semesters) applies to all graduate programs at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. That time limit is calculated including the semester of the oldest course being included in the program and concludes with the semester when final requirements are met (exams, incompletes cleared, course work completed, etc.). You will receive a letter from School of Education-Graduate Advising informing you of your acceptance to the program. You will need to contact Dr. Caro, via or telephone, in order to finalize the array of courses you intend to include in your graduate plan of study. You will receive a copy of the signed program plan and the original program of study will be retained in your advising file folder. Questions regarding this document should be referred to School of Education-Graduate Advising.
