Hazardous Waste Site Worker (40-hr) - $ Per Student A (40-hour) course satisfying the OSHA initial training requirements for General Site Workers as specified in 29 CFR (e)(3)(i). Additional Certifications: Students successfully completing the 40-hour Hazardous Waste Site Worker course, will also receive their Confined Space Operations(Compliant with OSHA 29 CFR ) and Fall Protection (Compliant with OSHA (A), 501, 502, 503,Bloodborne Pathogens (Compliant with OSHA 29 CFR ) CERTIFICATIONS AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. NOTE: (1) Adult First-Aid, CPR/AED training is conducted as part of this program. Students are provided a CPR breathing barrier for future emergency use. (2) Qualitative fit-test for air purifying respirators (APRs) are available at no extra charge for students taking the course. Students must bring their personal respirators for the fit-test. (3) 40-hour Hazardous Waste Site Worker is available in Spanish upon request. 2 Hazardous Waste Site Worker - (24-hr) $ Per Student A (24-hour) course satisfying the OSHA initial training requirements for workers other than General Site Workers (i.e., workers on-site only occasionally for a specific limited task or for workers regularly on-site, working in regularly monitored and fully characterized areas with exposures under permissible and published limits, where airpurifying respirators [APRs] are not necessary). Complies with OSHA 29 CFR (2)(3)(ii) & (iii) Additional Certifications: Students successfully completing the 40-hour Hazardous Waste Site Worker course, will also receive their Confined Space Operations(Compliant with OSHA 29 CFR ) and Fall Protection (Compliant with OSHA (A), 501, 502, 503,Bloodborne Pathogens (Compliant with OSHA 29 CFR ) CERTIFICATIONS AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. This course is also offered during the same weeks as the 40-hour course and usually held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Call for the 24-hour course class dates when planning to register. Now included in the Hazardous Waste Site Worker Refresher class is an overview of the revised Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR This most current revision aligns that standard with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). 4 Jan 21 Jul 21 Confined Spaces in Construction - $ Per Student NEW OSHA REGULATION ON CONFINED SPACES IN CONSTRUCTION. Full enforcement by October 2, Employers are required to make a good faith effort to train their employees. On May 4, 2015, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration s (OSHA) new regulation, 29 CFR 1926 Subpart AA - Confined Spaces in Construction, was published in the Federal Register. While many of the requirements are similar to the General Industry standard, 29 CFR Permit Required Confined Spaces; this regulation adds some additional requirements for construction activities. If you are doing construction work, such as building a new structure or upgrading an old one, then you must follow the construction confined space rule. Hazardous Materials Technician (24-hr) - $ Per Student Jan 6-8 Mar 9-11 A (24-hour) course meeting the basic OSHA training requirements for Hazardous Materials Technicians as specified in 29 CFR (q)(6)(iii). Provides basic training for personnel who will respond offensively to hazardous materials incidents. (NOTE: Also available is a 40-hour "Hazardous Materials Technician" course. See additional courses listed herein for program details. Hazardous Materials Technician Refresher (8-hr) - An (8-hour) course meeting the OSHA training requirements for Hazardous Materials Technicians as specified in 29 CFR (q)(6)(iii) and (q)(8). Provides a review of critical knowledge and skills needed by personnel who will respond offensively to hazardous materials incidents. Prerequisite: Training as a Hazardous Materials Technician. 5 Construction Industry Basic Safety Principles (10-hr) - $ Per Student UPON REQUEST FOR GROUP The 10 hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Outreach Training Program for the Construction Industry is intended to provide entry level construction workers with information about worker, and employer, rights and responsibilities. The course also covers how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job related hazards on a construction site. The training covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a construction site. This program emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention. In accordance with the Outreach Training Program Construction Industry Procedures dated April 2011, the course is presented in a minimum of two days and the daily classroom time is limited to a maximum of 7.5 hours. Construction Industry Basic Safety Principles (30-hr) - $ Per Student UPON REQUEST FOR GROUP The 30 Hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Outreach Training Program for the Construction Industry teaches construction workers about worker, and employer, rights and responsibilities. The course also covers how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards. The 30-hour Construction Outreach Training Program is intended to provide a variety of training to workers with some safety responsibility. The training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention. This course is normally presented in five days. In accordance with the Outreach Training Program Construction Industry Procedures dated April 2011, the daily classroom time is limited to 7.5 hours. Spanish Language Training The following courses are available in Spanish upon request.
