Our students are training in ITEC accredited qualifications, which are recognised worldwide. We are also a Dermalogica-approved salon, which enables our students to train with the best brands for skincare. Dermalogica products bring the power of the world s latest research and most innovative formulas to your hands. Dermalogica have a company commitment to education. Their products are for sale at a reduced cost, we also stock OPI in our Health and Beauty Suite. Vouchers towards beauty treatments or products are also available for purchase. Beauty Note - 1st year students are studying for their ITEC Beauty Specialist. 2nd year students are fully qualified Beauty Specialists, therefore there is an increase in prices for 2nd year students. Facials Using Dermalogical Products 1st Year 2nd Year Deep Cleansing Facial Includes steam/hot compress, exfoliation, clay mask and massage Specialist Facial Includes deep cleansing facial, specialist mask and facial massage Thermal/Mineral Mask Warming on the skin, aids absorption of treatment creams, hydrating and toning suitable for all skin types. Peel Off Mask Warming on the skin, aids absorption of treatment creams, hydrating and toning suitable for all skin types. Hot Oil Mask Combines oil soaked gauze applied to skin and stimulated by heat lamp. It improves skins elasticity, smoothness and is also good for dry and dehydrated skins. Skin colour and tone is also improved. Heat sensitivity test required before treatment. NOT SUITABLE for hypersensitive skins or high coloured complexions. Paraffin Wax Mask A warm liquid wax applied to skin which sets and is peeled off. Great for giving skin a boost throughout the seasons. A deep conditioning treatment suitable for most skin types, especially good for dry, dehydrated skins. Please note: Due to the order of teaching, treatment availability will vary throughout the year, with no provision during the months of May, June, July and August. Please be aware that the treatments are being carried out by ITEC Beauty Therapy Diploma students and in some cases may take longer than professional timings. Collagen Mask Can be applied as a paste or collagen sheet. Suitable for most skin types, this mask helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and plumps skin temporarily. 3 Facials Electrical Treatment to include a choice of 2 Electrical Machines Electrical treatments are 10 each or a course of 3 for Non Surgical Facelift Facial contour lifting. Using a gentle electrical current to lift and tighten the muscles and skin around the eyes and jaw line, can also soften fine lines and frown lines. Galvanic Deep cleansing/nourishing treatment depending on skin type. Deep Cleansing - great for oilier skins. Nourishing - for all skin types. Galvanic action aids penetration of specially selected products into the deeper layers of the skin. High Frequency Deep cleansing for oily/acne skins, nourishing for dry/mature skins. Deep Cleansing - purifying/ astringent treatment, especially good for acneic/very oily skins. Intensive moisturising - great for dry/mature skins. Vacuum Suction Lymphatic Drainage. Benificial to most skin types, NOT suitable for sensitive skins. Helps to drain impurities from the skin and deep cleanse blocked pores comedones. Can also improve skin texture and colour. Micro-Dermabrasion - 45mins or 3 for Intensive exfoliation suitable for most skin types, NOT suitable for sensitive skins. Body Electrical Treatment to include a choice of 2 Clients will undergo postural diagnosis, exercise and lifestyle advice per treatment. This is for student case study work, all information is confidential. All treatments last approx 1 hour 1 hour 30 mins. Electrical treatments are 10 each or a course of 3 for Faradic (Body Toning) Muscle stimulation to firm and tone loose, sagging muscles on abdomen, thighs, buttocks etc. Galvanic (Cellulite) A stimulating treatment to improve the appearance of stubborn fatty areas and stagnant cellulite areas. G5 Massager (Deep Tissue Massage) An intensive mechanical massage, especially benefical for deep muscle work and stubborn fatty areas. Micro Current (Body Contour and Lifting) Contour and lifting effect on sagging areas eg: breast, upper arms.
