1 Hip Digital Help Nothing happens when I try to download. You must have Java downloaded and installed in order for you to be able to download. Java is a free download. To test to see if you have Java installed, visit the following site To install the latest version of Java, visit the following When you first click a download button and confirm that you want to download a file, you will be prompted to enable the Java Download Manager. Selecting Run this time will require that you enable the download manager each item that you want to download. Select Always run on this site to not be prompted again. When you enable the Java Download Manager you will be prompted Do you want to run the application? Select Run to enable as shown in the below image.

2 The image below shows what an enabled vs. not enabled download manager will look like. Download Manager not enabled Download Manager enabled Once the Download Manager is enabled, you will be prompted to select a location to save your file. Browse to the location you would like to save your selection to and select Save.

3 Once you click Save your file will begin downloading.

4 How do I download to my mobile device? Users on most Android or Windows Mobile devices can download music directly from the mobile optimized version of the site to your mobile device. Mobile compatibility varies by device and is not the responsibility of Hip Digital Media, Inc. iphone and ipad users, please note that due to device restrictions, you cannot download directly to your device. Please use a desktop MAC, PC, Android or Windows Mobile device when downloading. A data connection is required (3G, LTE or wireless). Downloading files may not be supported by some carriers, and message/data rates apply. To download a single track to your mobile device 1. Click on the content title to reveal the download button. 2. Click on the download button.

5 3. You will be shown a screen asking you to confirm your download click confirm 4. Once you have confirmed your download you will be presented with the Download button. Click this button to download your selection. 5. Once your download has completed you can open the file from the list of downloaded items on your device.

6 To download an album to your mobile device 1. Click on the album title to reveal the download button. 2. Click on the download button. 6. You will be shown a screen asking you to confirm your download click confirm.

7 7. You will be shown a screen showing a list of the individual tracks contained within the chosen album. Clicking on the download button beside each individual track will download the track to your device. 8. When your downloads are complete, you can open the files from the list of downloaded items on your device.

8 I lost my internet connection/closed my browser /my computer restarted while I was downloading. What do I do? If you lost your internet connection temporarily while your download was in progress, the download manager will prompt you to resume your download. If you closed your browser or your computer restarted before your download completed, please contact customer service (support@hipdigital.ca) with your PIN Code and the information for the content that you were trying to download and one of our customer service representatives will assist you in obtaining your selection. Your PIN Code can be found at the bottom of the confirmation you received from American Express. I clicked the "Don't Trust" option while starting the download manager on my MAC. I cannot download my files. What should I do? If you are still on the page, click the "Error. Click for details" link and select the "reload" option. This will reload the download manager. If you are still having difficulties, please contact customer service (support@hipdigital.ca) with your PIN Code and the information for the content that you were trying to download and one of our customer service representatives will assist you in obtaining your selection. Your PIN Code can be found at the bottom of the confirmation you received from American Express. I can't find my files. Where are they saved on my computer? To find a file once it has been downloaded, use the Search or Find option on the computer to locate the file. To bring up the search window click on the "Start" button and type in the extension of the type of

9 file you re attempting to locate in the Search programs and files box that appears. Your downloaded content file should be in the list of files returned. For music files, type in *.mp3 in the Search programs and files box and it will find all MP3 files on your computer in question. Your downloaded music file should be in the list of files returned.
