4 Worked Example 1 The figure shows 3 identical circles overlapping one another where X, Y and Z are the centers of the 3 circles. Each shaded area is 60 cm 2. Find the area of the whole figure given that XY = YZ = 7 cm. (Take π = 22 ) 7 Solution: X 7 cm Y 7 cm Z Worked examples are used to guide students on the answering of the question.
