5 When to visit? The Mekong Delta has 2 seasons wet and dry. The dry season is from December April. The wet season is from May November. You will get short sharp downpours at this time of year and good deals on cruises. The monsoon sees the river the at its highest and the jungles at their greenest. 5

6 How long? The delta can be visited as a day trip from HCMC. If you want to see more then take an overnight cruise, returning to HCMC on day 2. Heading to Cambodia? A 2 night cruise takes you all the way to Chau Doc, which is a speedboat journey away from Phnom Penh. Buffalo have unique options to suit every client. 6
