Rest of the day is at leisure in one of Asia s most enchanting cities full of culture and history. At night we are invited to a warm welcome dinner served in one of Hanoi s cozy restaurants. (D) Day 02: Hanoi: City tour After breakfast in hotel, start your day by visiting: Ho Chi Minh Museum & Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Houses-on-stilts, which tells the life story of the great leader, as well as serves as his final resting place. One Pillar Pagoda, one of the oldest architectures dated back from the 11th century. It rises on a one pillar from the middle of a square lotus pond. Legend has it that Ly Thai Tong had a dream vision of Quan Am sitting on a lotus flower and promising him a male child. Thus, he had this

2 pagoda built, itself sitting on a pond like a giant flower on its tall stem.continue the city tour with the Temple of Literature- the first university in Vietnam.In the afternoon, visit Ethnology Museum, which gives an excellent overview of the country's ethnic groups, their customs and ways of life. The beautiful grounds display original old houses from many different ethnic groups.then, back to Hanoi Center, spend time to visit Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy Water Puppet Show.Then we will have walking tour to visit Old Quarters and Dong Xuan Market. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi. (B) Day 03: Hanoi: Overnight Cruise Experience Ha Long bay We have breakfast at our hotel in Hanoi before heading out to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Hanoi we board one of our luxury Vietnamese sampans for an overnight boat cruise amongst the more than 3000 limestone islands and rocks rising majestically out of the turquoize bay. We pass grand rock formations and quaint fishing towns, and sample a delicious buffet made up of freshly caught fish and seafood.in the afternoon we visit the small floating fishing village of Vung Vieng and are offered a choice of other interesting activities: a food carving and cooking class with our master chef on board, an optional traditional massage, a kayaking trip or, weather permitting, a refreshing swim.we end the day with a spectacular set-menu gastronomic dinner; steamed crab in tamarind sauce, fresh squid, giant prawns and delicious mussels are just a few of the many possibilities.before heading to our luxurious cabin and beds, and if we are in the right season, we can see the crew fishing for our lunch the next day. (B,L,D) Day 04: Ha Long Bay: Sightseeing Ho Chi Minh We start our day with calming Tai Chi or an optional massage on the sun deck. We pass beautiful spots such as Trong, Trinh Nu and the Me Cung Caves, and get a chance to explore the Surprise Cave ourselves before our buffet brunch on board.afterwards, transfer directly to the Noi Bai airport in Ha Noi to take the evening flight to Ho Chi Minh city. 3 Day 05: Ho Chi Minh City: Cu Chi Tunnel (2hrs) & Half Day City Tour After an early breakfast in hotel, depart to Cuchi tunnel, which is 22 miles northwest of the city.here you will have the opportunity to witness how rice paper is made and to explore the amazing labyrinth of tunnels used by the guerrillas during the war. Have lunch at local restaurant.return to Ho Chi Minh city then have a half-day city tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City. Then visit War Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dam Theatre, General Post Office, Ben Thanh market and the bustling Chinatown.have dinnner at restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City (B, L, D) Day 06: Ho Chi Minh City: Excursion To Mytho Breakfast in hotel and take a full day excursion to Mytho, where the Mekong river flows.you will enjoy a leisurely cruise on the Mekong river through Thoi Son island via small beautiful canals. You will walk along small village road to visit fruit garden, elementary school, spirits distilling house, fish catching by tackle and see the daily life of villagers.rowing boat cruise along wonderful canals to visit orchards and the house of local people. Enjoy some of tropical fruits and traditional music show then boat cruise to tortoise island to have lunch at local restaurant. Visit a coconut candy workshop. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. (B, L) Day 07: Ho Chi Minh City Siem Reap: Angkor Wat After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem reap - Cambodia.Upon arrival at the airport you will be transferred to the hotel for checkin and rest of the day is free at leisure.the provincial capital of Siem Reap is a bustling tourist destination due to its proximity to both the ancient Khmer national capital city of Angkor and Tonle Sap Lake. Angkor Wat, the world's largest religious monument, is the spiritual and cultural heart of Cambodia. The huge complex of palaces and temples were built on the sprawling alluvial plain to the north of Tonle Sap. Visit Angkor Wat, a World Heritage Site. Overnight in Siem Reap. (B)

4 Day 08: Siem Reap: Visiting Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm, Bantey Srey, Sunset After breakfast in hotel, start your visit to the ancient city of Angkor Thom, surrounded by an 8m high wall, it was the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. Continue to Bayon Temple in the exact center of the city. This 12th century masterpiece is a study in grandeur. The exterior gallery walls have extensive, superb bas-reliefs, particularly the East and South Galleries. Ta Prohm temple, built in the mid-12th to early 13th centuries is your next visit. Ta Prohm Temple, unlike most other Angkor temples, has been left just it was when rediscovered: a photogenic and atmospheric maze of trees growing out of temple ruins amidst jungle surroundings, making it one of Angkor's most popular temples with visitors. From here, travel to the "gem" of the Angkor area, the pretty temple of Bantey Srey. Bantey Srey, the citadel of the women, displays some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art. Bantey Srey is built largely of red sandstone, an ideal medium for the elaborate decorative wall carvings which are still observable today. The buildings themselves, unusual among Angkor era structures, are miniature in scale. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap. (B) Day 09: Chong Kneas Depart In the morning after breakfast you will head out to Chong Kneas floating village. Take a boat and cruise through this floating settlement seeing a floating school, farms, houses and many more curiosities. Greeted by waves of the friendly locals, here you can glimpse Cambodia s lakeside culture and traditional family lifestyle. Return to Siem Reap and transfer to the Airport.
