Cunard will proudly celebrate its 175 th anniversary in 2015 with some remarkable anniversary cruises and events. In total 5 special cruises are available and these will be available for sale ahead of the main programme to reflect the exceptional demand they are likely to receive. To start these momentous celebrations, all three Queens will meet in Southampton on 3 May 2015 in a spectacular end to their World Cruises. This will be followed by the unprecedented sight of all three Cunard ships together at our spiritual home of Liverpool on 25 May the first time ever the entire fleet has been on the Mersey. Liverpool is Cunard s birthplace and was home to Cunard's Head Office from 1839 to 1967 the Cunard Building on the Pierhead remains one of the most significant buildings in the city and part of a World Heritage site. The people of Liverpool still have a great affection for all things Cunard, and the event promises to be hugely popular with residents and passengers alike. In addition, Queen Victoria will call at Cobh to commemorate the sinking of the Lusitania on 7 May a poignant journey that will involve ceremonies at the town s memorial to mark this significant date in Cunard s history. At the same time tribute will be paid to the 22 ships, and Cunard men, that were lost in the War. The celebrations will continue in true Cunard style with Queen Mary 2 recreating the very first transatlantic crossing. She will leave Liverpool on 4 July 175 years to the day that Britannia began her journey and will follow in her wake. After a westbound crossing, Halifax and then Boston will enthusiastically welcome the Cunard flagship just as they did 175 years ago. 3 2.1 THREE QUEENS IN LIVERPOOL Cunard will celebrate its historic anniversary in style with all three Queens meeting in Cunard s spiritual home of Liverpool on 25 th May It will be the first ever three Queens meeting on the river Mersey. On 24 th May 2015 QUEEN MARY 2 will arrive in Liverpool and will stay overnight. The next morning her sister ships will arrive on the river Mersey creating an unprecedented three Queens spectacle in Liverpool. 5 2.2 THE ORIGINAL TRANSATLANTIC CROSSING On 4 th July 2015, 175 years to the day when Britannia departed on her maiden transatlantic voyage, QUEEN MARY 2 will re-enact the original transatlantic crossing. She will depart Southampton and call at Liverpool, Halifax, Boston and New York As part of this cruise event we will be offering embarkations or disembarkations in Liverpool. Passengers will have the opportunity to Sail from Southampton on 2 nd July to Liverpool on 4 th July on a short cruise break, or cross the Atlantic from Liverpool on 4 th July (M511C) to New York on 14 th July (M511F). This will allow passengers to enjoy the choice of cabin number (subject to availability), Britannia restaurant passengers will have the choice of early or late sitting in the main restaurant, subject to availability, and be eligible for upgrades (where and if available). In addition, passengers will only need to pay a 15% deposit at the time of booking (outside 90 days before departure) and, where available, will also benefit from a complimentary shuttle bus in selected ports. The Cunard Fare comes with a choice of additional benefits, including: On board spending money Available on cruises of 7 nights or more On board spending money varies by cruise duration and applies to the first two passengers sharing a cabin. This can be spent on shore excursions, drinks, spa, and in the shops. On board spending money is non-refundable and non-transferable. If the passenger is a Cunard World Club member, the on board discount applies after all on board spending money has been used. OR Car Parking Available on all Southampton roundtrip cruises of 7 nights or more Passengers can leave their car in a secure car park (one space per booking). Passengers must state at the time of booking if they wish to use this service and then contact Cruise & Passenger Services Ltd (the operator) direct on or via to arrange car parking no less than 35 days in advance of your departure. OR Coach transfers Available on all Southampton roundtrip cruises of 7 nights or more Coach transfers are available to all passengers on the booking. Passengers must state at the time of booking if they wish to use this service and then contact the coach provider on no later than 35 days prior to departure. Benefits are not combinable. One benefit per booking 3.3 EARLY SAVER FARES Early Saver fares offer passengers further price reductions, limited added value and flexible booking conditions, which means they will be able to choose their grade and location of cabin (the specific cabin number will be at the discretion of Cunard), with a lower priority of dining time or table size. Early Saver fares may be offered on specific cruises and availability will vary. This fare will be introduced as required as a promotional tool to up-weight business on selected departures. These are time limited offers and will come and go as required. Other promotional fares may be introduced from time to time, including limited late availability deals that would come with no choice of cabin, dining time or table size and very restrictive booking conditions. 7

8 3.4 CUNARD WORLD CLUB MEMBER SAVING Members of the Cunard World Club will benefit from an additional 5% discount on the fare shown above. 9 4.0 IMPORTANT CHANGES 4.1 CABIN GRADING STRUCTURE Following a review of the existing cabin grade structure and passenger feedback, Cunard has changed the way the ships are graded for the new 2015/16 programme onwards. This change will apply from the following cruises onwards: Ship Cruise Date Queen Mary 2 M May-15 Queen Elizabeth Q May-15 Queen Victoria V May-15 All ships will be segmented into five sections, Forward, Mid-Forward, Mid, Mid-Aft and Aft, with all cabins reclassified to fit into the new structure. Meta classifications remain the same as in the current structure. Please note, the Queen Elizabeth cabin grading changes will not be made until after the 175 Anniversary Cruises and will therefore not be applicable to this release. Full details will be communicated in the main 2015/16 Cunard programme release. Passenger booking patterns and comments indicate a clear preference for mid-ship across all Meta types. The fare ladder has therefore been expanded to accommodate this, giving passengers more choice and flexibility of cabin location and fare, for example, Balcony inventory on Queen Victoria has increased from two to six grades, providing a more even split of cabins. Price jumps between grades are subsequently reduced (where the fare ladder has increased), allowing for a greater upgrade opportunity. 10 Full deck plans and cabin grade information can will be found in the rear of the brochure and online at and on from 05 March FLIGHTS For convenience, flights and transfers are included in the fare for our Transatlantic Crossings and short cruises between Southampton and Hamburg. Passengers can make their own flight arrangements by simply requesting a Cruise Only option. Where the sailing time permits and subject to availability, your flights will be arranged for the day of embarkation/disembarkation. Flights are not necessarily direct or non-stop. For all of our fly-cruise holidays, we can tailor flights to meet specific requirements. 5.1 REGIONAL AIRPORT FLIGHTS On all Cunard cruises, including Southampton sailings, we are pleased to offer flights from a range of UK departure points. These are available at an additional supplement, with fares from 149 per person return, subject to availability. Simply give the name of the regional airport at the time the booking is made, specifying whether one-way or return flights are required. 5.2 FLIGHT UPGRADES For passengers who have an Economy class flight as part of their Cunard holiday, we also offer the option to upgrade their flights to Premium, Business or First class on their preferred airline. Upgrades are available 11 months prior to departure, subject to availability. 5.3 FLIGHT DEVIATIONS ALTER YOUR DATE We can also help passengers to extend your holiday, either before or after their cruise. Whether they choose one of our hotel stays, want extra time to explore independently or would like to visit family and friends overseas, we can assist with arranging flights to fit in with their plans. Simply let us know the preferred dates when the cruise is booked, or at least before the balance due date of the holiday. Please note that passengers who decide to explore a destination independently, will need to make their own way to or from the ship on embarkation/disembarkation day and, depending on the flights chosen, an additional charge may apply ADD ANOTHER DESTINATION For longer journeys it s possible to stop en route, or another destination can be added to the itinerary by flying to a different city before joining the cruise. For example, passengers have the option to fly to Boston or Philadelphia before joining the ship in New York. Prices will vary depending on the flights chosen. Please note that quotations can only be provided within 11 months of the final flight in the itinerary. However, if passengers know their requirements before then we will be happy to store them in their booking and contact them with a quote when flights become available. We will send passengers their flight information once we have booked all of their flights. This usually happens approximately 11 months before the final flight in their itinerary. 10

11 6.0 LAND STAYS For 2015, we have enhanced our pre- and post-cruise product offering in New York. Passengers will have the exciting opportunity of extending their holiday with one of our new packages such as a twin-centre tour incorporating New York and Toronto. Southampton hotels and airport hotels at Heathrow and Gatwick remain in our programme allowing passengers to unwind prior to their flights or ship embarkation. All of our 2015 packages include accommodation, all transfers between the airport, hotel and ship, local taxes and fees, luggage porterage and access to our local representatives in case of emergency. 13 7.0 GENERAL POLICIES 7.1 THE CUNARD FARE BOOKING TERMS 15% of the total fare is due at the time of booking. The deposit is non-refundable. A booking may only be made by a person aged 18 or over. All guests who, at the time of departure, are under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over who will at all times during the holiday be responsible for their welfare, conduct and behaviour. We are unable to carry babies under the age of six months (one year for any voyage containing a Transatlantic crossing). Passengers under 16 years old are not permitted to disembark the ship in any port without an adult passenger who is accompanying them on the holiday. After a holiday has been booked, Cunard will try to accommodate any request for a change (such as a change of cabin) but such changes are always at Cunard s discretion and are subject to an administration charge of 20. Agreement to transfer a holiday is conditional upon such a request being made more than 90 days before the scheduled departure date; there being availability; and on payment of both an administration charge of 100 and any expenses (such as airline and or hotel charges) incurred by Cunard as a result. For details of all booking conditions, please see the back of the brochure. 7.2 THE CUNARD FARE CANCELLATION TERMS The passenger may cancel the contract at any time prior to the commencement of the Package via their travel agent or, for passengers who have booked directly, by calling our Customer Contact Centre.
