2 Laredo Application Guide Compact LCC 6-1ft mounting height The Laredo Family meets the Strictest Lighting Codes Full Cutoff IDA Compliant - Energy efficient All three size units feature flat glass lens with optics that produce no uplight, focusing the light where it is needed and reducing glare and sky glow, thus meeting the strictest light codes. The LCC and LMC series have new LED systems to cover mounting heights from 8-15 feet. Wide lateral spread with excellent uniformity provide excellent lighting with the benefits of long life and energy savings. The LMC and LLC pulse start units include an internal comfort shield to further reduce front arc tube visibility, increasing pedestrian comfort and lighting uniformity. The shield can be easily removed in the field for greater forward punch and lumen output. The vertical base up design on pulse start LMC/LLC units increases both life and lumen output versus typical horizontal lamp fixtures. The Laredo family offers the most energy efficient light sources available LED, electronic metal halide, pulse start metal halide, and CFL. The accent ribs and curves of the housing complement the other Southwest Series fixtures such as the Medallion and Cimarron full cutoff area lights and the Laramie decorative flood series. The front smooth curve complements the Cimarron providing architectural continuity from the parking lot to the building. The reflector systems all produce full cutoff, IDA compliant distributions with wide lateral throw and good forward punch. The compact units have horizontal lamps to minimize fixture size for lower mounting heights of 6-1 feet. Mid-size units feature vertical lamps for greater life and light output than comparable horizontal lamp luminaires. The large unit also has a vertical lamp in the pulse start and twin lamp CFL systems, while HPS units use horizontal lamps due to length. Touch Latch Optional stainless steel touch latch allows tool-free access to lamp, reflector and lens for ease of maintenance on LMC and LLC units. Not available on LMC-LED fixtures. Standard closure by two HubbellGard coated steel screws.

(LMC18LU5K shown) Laredo Construction Option Details Photo Control Factory installed button photocontrols are available on select models for energy-savings. Quick Mounting LMC LED features a quick mount adapter easy mounting without opening fixture. Attach adapter plate to wall, connect wires, hang fixture and tighten set screws. Secure Mounting Foam gasket for secure sealing to smooth surfaces with key slot configuration (except LMC LED). Mounting template included. High Power LEDS Precision LED optics spread lumens uniformly. Single unit coverage is laterally and 0-5 forward from 1-14ft mounting height. Surface Wiring Auxiliary Lamp Sockets Polycarbonate Shield Optics Laredo units have three 1/ tapped access hubs (top and both sides) for surface conduit wiring. LMC-LED units are for recessed box wiring only. Battery Test Switch External test switch provided on BBU/ BOC units allowing testing without opening fixture. EM Auxiliary socket for remote 10V power (by others) available on all units for egress. EM1 MR16 socket available on LMC series for remote 1 volt power (by others) for egress. 1/8 clear polycarbonate shield protects lens and lamp from rocks and debris. Field installation required. Available for all Laredo models. Multi-piece, segmented optics provide wide lateral spread and forward illumination. Comfort shield provided in LMC and LLC metal halide units to reduce brightness as you approach the luminaire and increase uniformity. Can be removed for increased forward throw. 3

LED units are IDA compliant, neighbor friendly without light trespass and glare. 5 New LMC Series Laredo The mid-size Laredo is the most versatile in the series, covering perimeter mounting applications from feet and is loaded with options and capabilities. The new 44w LED system provides excellent uniformity, producing a rectangular pattern of 000 lumens with 5000K CCT. The LED fixture has a special quick mount adapter allowing installation without ever opening the fixture (wires to recessed junction boxes only). HID fixtures mount lamp vertically in the segmented reflector system to provide wide spacings and controlled forward throw. Multiple egress lighting options include battery back up for fluorescent, EM socket for 10V generator systems and single or twin EM1 for 1V MR16 remote battery systems. 6 Laredo LLC Series The large Laredo can be mounted from 16-5 feet with HID lamps or lower for egress applications with twin fluorescent lamps and redundant battery back up. Series is capable of up to 400w energy-saving Pulse Start and HPS. User-friendly maintenance options such as the touch latch door (also available on the midsize) allow easy service.
