TT utilizes redundant ISP connections in each data center. TT ISP connections terminate into redundant hardware EQUIPMENT REDUNDANCY Two devices at client site. Devices can be either at the same site or diverse sites. Devices typically configured as primary/secondary but can be configured as primary/primary. Redundancy and failover setup based on client s requested design. Hosting requirements of CPE devices on customer premise is determined by the connectivity provider. Not Applicable 5
6 Technical Specifications continued PRIVATE CONNECTIVITY INTERNET CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS On-premises DNS services must be able to access public DNS. TT will advertise a registered public (globally unique) IP range per datacenter in the customer network via a connectivity provider. Customer must allow propagation of TT advertised IP on internal network. The public IP range is a TT restricted range for the sole purpose of private connectivity into the TT platform (see Appendix for related Network Diagram). These TT-owned public addresses will be advertised via public DNS, and resolution of these addresses will be required for private connectivity. On-premises DNS services must be able to access public DNS. HOURS OF OPERATION All hours are coordinated with the availability of the TT platform front/back end. From: Sunday 10:00 a.m. Central Time (U.S.) (16:00 GMT) To: Friday 4:30 p.m. Central Time (U.S.) (22:30 GMT) All hours are coordinated with the availability of the TT platform front/back end. From: Sunday 10:00 a.m. Central Time (U.S.) (16:00 GMT) To: Friday 4:30 p.m. Central Time (U.S.) (22:30 GMT) SERVICE SUPPORT The connectivity provider manages and maintains the entire delivery path, including all hardware and circuits. As an extension of Trading Technologies support, customers are asked to grant permissions to Trading Technologies to allow Trading Technologies access to bandwidth utilization, latency and other network performance data recorded by the connectivity provider, and to allow Trading Technologies the ability to open trouble tickets with the connectivity provider on the customer s behalf. The following limitations are inherent characteristics of the Internet. Limitations include, but are not limited to, the following: + + The Internet is a shared public media. + + Higher latency, lower data throughput and data loss are possible. + + Coordination of problem investigtions may require working with multiple Internet vendors. + + It is the customer s responsibility to resolve issues with its Internet vendor. 6
