10 Geotechnical Services MG3 can offer specialist geotechnical services including the latest innovative equipment designed for both shelf and also deep water applications. Available equipment includes 20 ton seabed Cone Penetrometer Testing (CPT) systems designed for water depths up to 3000 m and site investigation geotechnical drilling with wireline CPT equipment installed on DP vessels. A full range of seabed sampling and testing equipment can be offered including seabed CPT, Vibrocoring, Piston/Gravity Corers and Box Coring for a range of water depths. MG3 have developed purpose designed Core Control systems and RTLARS safe and efficient corer recovery and deployment launch systems A full range of laboratory soils analyses and engineering services can also be offered through to final report. MG3 can offer services in the following sectors: Geotechnical Site Investigations Shallow Seabed Testing and Sampling Specialist 20 ton Seabed CPT for Windfarm Investigations and Deep Water Applications Burial Assessment Surveys (BAS) for Submarine Cables and Pipeline Route Surveys

12 Geochemical Services MG3 is a specialist offshore geochemical exploration company and can provide full suite of conventional geochemistry and also have a worldwide relationship with Amplified Geochemical Images LLC (AGI). MG3 have developed the CC-5000 geochemical core control system to allow high production of cores to be collected safely for geochemical objects. Macro-seepage and/or micro-seepage surveys can be carried out using combination of AGI and/or conventional testing and analysis. MG3 can provide specialist DP1 vessels with hydraulic A-frames, CC-5000 core control coring systems for collecting cores in up to 5000 m water depth. MG3 have developed RTLARS system for safe and efficient recovery and deployment of corer systems. For macro-seepage surveys, other geophysics systems including deep water multibeam and hull mounted pinger arrays can be used to map ocean floor features such as pockmarks, scarps, surface and subsurface faults and mud volcanoes. Amplified Geochemicall Images LLC has developed and patented the GORE Module with its vapour-permeable membrane and proprietary sorbent mix, to enable capture of microseepage signals from interstitial hydrocarbon gases. This provides far more accurate and detailed analysis and interpretation than other macroseepage detection techniques.

14 Multirole Geoscience Vessels Permanent vessels: MG3 provide dedicated multirole DP vessels which have been specifically designed as versatile multirole platforms for offshore geoscience and environmental surveys with high specification geophysics spreads and efficient seabed coring with DP and hydraulic A-frames. For Global services, mobile spreads with a range of positioning, survey, geophysical and geotechnical equipment are provided for rapid mobilisation onto other selected vessels for cost effective operations in Middle East/Indian sub continent and Asia Pacific region.
