2 FESTIVE LUNCH FESTIVE DINNER WELCOME TO THE TALBOT FOR A MAGICAL FESTIVE TREAT... For my wife Alice and I Christmas is one of the most exciting times of the year. With winter outside there s nothing better than crowding around log fires, eating delicious food, drinking a little too much and having an amazing time with your family. This year will be extra special for us as our son Billy will be enjoying Christmas for the first time properly. It is this same family feeling that we want to be the foundation of Christmas at the Talbot Hotel. Alice and I help decorate the hotel, finalise menus with James Martin and make sure that each and every guest have a genuinely heart warming Christmas they will never forget! Merry Christmas Tom, Alice and Billy Naylor-Leyland Restaurant & Wentworth Room Christmas wouldn t be Christmas without turkey on the menu! A delicious festive menu served between 12 noon and 2.30pm. 2 courses 3 courses Exclusive use of the Wentworth Room is available for parties of between 14 and 36 guests. Table reservations for the Restaurant and Wentworth Room are essential. Bar & Atrium Restaurant & Wentworth Room Take over the beautiful Wentworth room for your Christmas event choosing our special Talbot Festive Dinner Party menu available throughout December, Sunday to Thursday evenings, for between 14 and 36 guests. A festive reception drink 3 Course seasonal menu Wine to accompany each course Coffee and petits fours 65 per person including all food, wines and VAT. For those who would like the opportunity to make their own choices from our extensive wine cellar the dinner without reception drink and wine package is 39 per person. Seasonal festive food will be available from the bar menu for casual diners, without pre-booking. 3

3 CHRISTMAS HOUSE PARTY Christmas Eve Tuesday 24th December A very warm welcome. Your room will be ready from 2.30pm. Once you ve settled in please join us for afternoon tea served in the lounges where you can relax by the warming log fires. 6.00pm Join us for Champagne and canapés in the bar and atrium for traditional carols with our group of local singers. 7.00pm Dinner is served in the restaurant and Wentworth room. Christmas Day Wednesday 25th December 8.00am 10.00am Enjoy a delicious Yorkshire breakfast. Explore the hotel as you hunt for our little Christmas presents hidden just for you. Take a short stroll around the garden, up into the market square or a drive through the countryside, start on our Christmas quiz... or perhaps just switch off with a good book pm Please gather for Champagne and canapés prior to a most traditional and tasty Christmas Day luncheon. After lunch why not challenge your partner to one of our traditional board games? 6.30pm 8.00pm An informal supper is served in the drawing room, bar and atrium... or feel free to take a tray back to your own room. Boxing Day Thursday 26th December Enjoy a delicious Yorkshire breakfast. The day is yours to relax... Discover the magnificent Yorkshire countryside or perhaps a day in historic York visiting York Minster, seeing the ancient walls and maybe some retail therapy. Or follow the sport of kings at Wetherby Racecourse; Welcome to Yorkshire s Christmas meeting offers a traditional Yorkshire day at the races for all the family, full of fun and festive atmosphere held over two days, 26th and 27th December. 7.00pm 9.00pm Please join us in the bar when the winner of our Christmas quiz will be announced, prior to a delicious and leisurely seasonal dinner a choice of three courses. TARIFF Rates are quoted per person sharing a double room and are inclusive of all food and drinks as stated.
