4 Assembly Instructions Note: Please do not fully tighten all bolts until you finish assembling all parts. Once assembled, go back and fully tighten all bolts. This will make it easier during assembly of unit. 1. Unpack the unit and confirm that you have all the hardware and required parts listed. 2. Insert one Front Metal Leg (G) and Back Metal Leg (H) into the pre-drilled holes on Left and Right Wood Leg (C & D) respectively as shown in detail #1A. Make sure that the metal bracket on the top of Metal Legs will point toward front of the unit and the socket on the Front Metal Leg (G) will face floor when place upright. 3. Place Wood Top Frame (A) upside down on a scratch free surface and pull out the Keyboard Pull-out as shown in detail #1. 4. Align & attach the Leg Assemblies onto the Wood Top Frame (A) as shown in detail #1. Insert and screw four 1 1/4 Bolts (2) with Washers (4 & 5) from inside of the Wood Top Frame (A) through the pre-drilled holes on the side rails and into the threaded inserts on the Wood Legs (C & D). Fasten the Metal Legs (G & H) in place by using the 3/4" Bolts (1) with the Washers (4 & 5) through the metal bracket of the Metal Legs. 5 Assembly Instructions 5. Align and attach two Metal Brackets (7) to the joints of the Front Metal Legs (G) and the Wood Legs (C & D) using the 3/4" Bolts (1) and Washers as shown in detail #2A. 6. Align and attach Left & Right Leg Return (E & F) to the bottom of Legs making sure the threaded inserts on the side of Leg Returns will face inside. Insert and screw 1-1/4 Bolts (2) with Washers (4 & 5) through the countersunk holes on the Leg Returns into the Legs. Tighten the bolts with the Allen Wrench provided. See detail #2. 6 Assembly Instructions 7. Fit Bottom Stretcher (I) between the Left and Right Leg Return (E & F) and attach in the place using two 3/4 Bolts (1) with Washers (4 & 5) through the end brackets. Make sure that the end brackets face backward. See detail #3. DO NOT tighten the bolts. Required hardware in this step Description: (1) 3/4 Bolt (4) Lock Washer (5) Flat Washer Sketch Qty. 7 Assembly Instructions 8. Align and attach 2 Metal Bars (J) between the Bottom Stretcher (I) and Wood Top Frame (A) for extra support using the Small Bolts (3) and tighten with Phillips Screwdriver. See detail #4. 9. Go back and securely tighten all bolts with Allen Wrench provided. Push the Keyboard Pull-out in place as shown in detail #4. 8 Assembly Instructions 10. Stand the unit upright. 11. Drop Top Glass (B) onto the place as shown in detail #5. Be sure the black side of glass is down. Note: If glass is scratched you can minimize the damage by using a BLACK marker and filling in scratched area from underneath. 12. In case of uneven floor, floor levelers are provided at the front bottom of both Leg Returns (E & F). To adjust unit in case of tilting, simply tilt the unit back and raise or lower floor leveler by hand to correct tilting. As shown in detail #5. KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE If the glass is chipped or broken, stop using the product and consult the manufacturer or supplier. 1) Do not place very hot or very cold items on the glass surface unless adequately thick tablemats are used to prevent such items from coming into contact with the glass. 2) Do not sit or stand upon the glass surface. 3) Do not use the glass as a chopping surface. Do not strike the glass with hard or pointed items. 4) When cleaning glass panel use a damp cloth or leather with washing up liquid or soft soap if necessary; do not use washing powders or any other substances containing abrasive since these substances scratch glass. 9 Care and Maintenance Use a soft, clean cloth that will not scratch the surface when dusting. Use of furniture polish is not necessary. Should you choose to use polish, test first in an inconspicuous area. Using solvents of any kind on your furniture may damage the finish. Never use water to clean your furniture as it may cause damage to the finish. Always use coasters under beverage glasses and flowerpots. Liquid spills should be removed immediately. Using a soft clean cloth, blot the spill gently. Avoid rubbing. Always use protective pads under hot dishes and plates. Heat can cause chemical changes that may create spotting within the furniture finish. Stains or marks from crayons or ink markers will be difficult to remove. In the event that your furniture is stained or otherwise damaged during use, we recommend that you call a professional to repair your furniture. Check bolts/screws periodically and tighten them if necessary. Further advice about wood furniture care It is best to keep your furniture in a climate-controlled environment. Extreme temperature and humidity changes can cause fading, warping, shrinking and splitting of wood. It is advised to keep furniture away from direct sunlight as sun may damage the finish. Proper care and cleaning at home will extend the life of your purchase. Following these important and helpful tips will enhance your furniture as it ages.
