Which audit service must be provided, shall be determined by the lecturer at the beginning of the semester. If an oral exam or a written exam takes place, the lecturer will decide about its duration at the beginning of the semester. The duration is according to the prescribed regulations of the examination. 1/3 of the subject grade; 14% of all subject grades; 4.66% of the final grade Whereas in the relevant Bachelor s course (Software Engineering) the focus is on the knowledge and skills for the development of complex software products, the participants of the Advanced Software Engineering course acquire the know-how in providing and integrating individual application systems professionally in the context of a hardware and software landscape existing in an enterprise. The course enables the participants to design and manage the entire portfolio of operational software with special reference to information systems. Moreover, by handling relevant overlapping topics of software development and of software management, the participants are able to evaluate decisions concerning the software architecture and design with regard to its technical and economic risks. As a generalized abstraction for modelling business and cooperation processes, the students acquire abilities in conceptualizing multi-dimensional, spatially discrete and temporally constant process structures and in using relevant software tools. They analyse their own company situation as well as the competition and the resulting market opportunities. They must be in a position to evaluate and analyse the core aspects and success criteria of market-oriented corporate governance as well as identify and overcome critical company situations. Based on case studies, projects or individual case-related tasks, the students are to be qualified to solve managementspecific problems with theoretical reasoning and practical acceptance.
