Thanks to the proven conventional line technology a cost-saving fire alarm system can be set p. Three types are available: FPC 500 2: 2 zones for p to 64 detectors FPC 500 4: 4 zones for p to 128 detectors FPC 500 8: 8 zones for p to 256 detectors With the integrated LCD display, the panel can be programmed and operated. The optional extensions sch as relay modles, open collector modles and key switches allow frther tailoring to ser needs. 2 2 FPC-500 Conventional Fire Panel 3 Zone keys and zone stats LEDs 4 Operating panel Fnctions The fire panels of FPC-500 series have the following featres available: Alarm verification Dal-detector dependency Dal-zone dependency Intermediate alarm storage Programmable delays Switching between day and night mode (AV) Event and test history Alarm conter Operating levels The fire panels have three different operating levels. No access code is reqired for level 1. Access to level 2 and 3 reqires for-digit codes (level 2 also accessible with optional key switch). The access codes for level 2 and 3 can be changed. Different test fnctions are available. On level 1 LED, bzzer and LCD tests can be rn. On level 2 and 3 additional tests for zones, otpts and NACs can be rn. Programming Yo can program the panel easily via the keypad and LCD display. The zones can be configred independently allowing for a perfect tailoring to individal cstomer needs. The defalt programming helps getting acqainted qickly with the system and mst be modified slightly to fit many applications. Mont the fire panel to the wall with the LCD at eye level. For optimm battery life, the fire panel shold only be operated at permissible operating temperatres (0 C to +40 C). Contry-specific standards and gidelines mst be observed when planning. Note the reqirements of yor local athorities and instittions (police, fire service). For an operation of the fire detection system according to EN 54 13, it is reqired to terminate every zone with an EOL modle. Maintenance Have maintenance and inspection work carried ot reglarly by trained, qalified personnel. Bosch Sicherheitssysteme GmbH recommends a fnctional and visal inspection at least once a year.
