A guide to the essentials for your weekend in Paris The Coolin - Your Nations HQ Getting to and from the Paris Restaurants Bars, Pubs & Cafés Sites & Shopping Getting about th March 000 to 5th March 04 your Left Bank Nations Headquarters The located in the very centre of Paris, is an ideal place for all to meet. It is easy to get to from any part of Paris and there is a direct RER B train to take you to the stadium with only stops. En plus the RER B station is only five minutes walk from the Pub. The Coolin, one of the best known and largest Irish pubs in Paris, is in a beautiful location under the arches of the Marché St. Germain in the th arrondisement. We will be doing breakfast and lunch before the match so if you fancy an Irish breakfast or the best burger in Paris you know where to go. The Coolin is also in the premier area for night life in Paris, with numerous restaurants, traditional little French bistros, and is close to many of Paris most historical sites, with late night clubs to keep the party going until the early hours of the morning. So here is your quick guide to a memorable weekend in Paris. Allez les verts!

2 GETTING TO CENTRAL PARIS Charles de Gaulle (CDG) - Aer Lingus Aer Lingus arrives into Terminal. From here you have several options for getting to the centre of Paris, Taxi, Coach or Train. Taxi Only take official taxis from the official taxi rank. Unofficial taxis are very expensive and can be unsafe. The official taxi rank is just outside Exit 4 Bus Air France run coaches from Exit to Porte Maillot, Place de l Etoile (Champs Elysee) Montparnasse on the Left bank. Paris Beauvais (BVA) - Ryanair Airport coaches serves all flights to/from Beauvais (located 0k from the city centre). Tickets are priced at 7 each way or can be purchased online for 5 0 (highly recommended aeroportbeauvais.com/offres.aspx). Coaches leave directly after each flight. Train When you exit the Arrivals Hall take the lifts located behind the Information Desk next to Exit. Directly opposite the lift on the ground floor is the airport shuttle train station. From here take the train to the nd stop and exit for the RER station. Take the RER B train to the centre of Paris (all trains go to Paris). Tickets are 50 each way for an adult (this will get you to anywhere on the RER or Metro lines even if you have to change). It s better to buy a return ticket to save you hassle when returning to the airport. Just be sure to use the Billetterie Ile-de-France and not the yellow SNCF TGV vending machines, as only the blue box machines sell tickets for the RER B. You will see the magnificent Stade de France on your right as you make your journey from the airport. Very Important - when returning to the airport be sure to be at the coach park next to the Hotel Concorde Lafayette, Boulevard Pershing, Porte Maillot three hours and 5 minutes before your departure time as this service is linked to each flight and buses DO NOT run throughout the day. If you miss it you will need to get a taxi, which is very pricey at about 40!

Here is a cross section of some of our favorites including Fish and Semilla on Rue de Seine, minutes from the Coolin and recommended by Michelin or the famous Brasserie Lipp on Boulevard St Germain. Another C 5 7 classic is Relais d Entrecôte on Rue Saint Benoit which only has one item on it s menu, it s very famous entrecôte steak. The Coolin will be serving homemade Irish beef and lamb burgers with homecut fries served in Waterford Blaas to name but two options. Bon appetite! C. We highly recommend taking time out to stroll the banks of the Seine from the Coolin over Pont des Arts, past the Louvre, down to Ile Saint 7 Louis and back by Notre Dame. For some of the best shopping take Rue de Four from the Coolin to Le Bon Marché (Harvey Nics of Paris), Rue de Rennes or Boulevard St Germain. 5 C 4

5 GETTING ABOUT Stade de France The RER B (express metro train) goes from St Michel/Notre Dame station beside the cathedral and goes directly to Stade de France, just stops and minutes train Metro Save money and time by purchasing a carnet of tickets for 70 from vending machines near the turnstiles. Each ticket is valid for anywhere within the city of Paris on the Métro and RER networks, you can Paris by Boat Paris by Boat There are many companies that offer boat trips in Paris. The most centrally located is based at Pont Neuf on the Taxis Taxis are not expensive and are a good way to get around central Paris. That being said, you will be very lucky to find a taxi at closing time but the best possibility is to ring Walking Nothing beats walking in Paris.
