There is nothing comparable on this planet than a safari in Africa and there is no better place on earth to enjoy this enriching experience than Tanzania. After seeing 3 of the most famous Safari locations in Africa, take some time to relax on dazzling white, palmfringed beaches, where the azure waters of the Indian Ocean beckon. Breathe in the fragrant scents of cloves, vanilla, cardamom and nutmeg, and discover why Zanzibar is called The Spice Island. 4 SAFARI The Swahili word safari means long journey, originally from the Arabic meaning a journey. TANZANIA ITINERARY 6th Mar: You will be collected by our tour guide at your hotel in Moshi at 8am and transferred to Tarangire National Park. This rolling landscape with sweeping acacia trees epitomise the African wilderness and is famous for the large collection of baobab trees and a spectacular large mammal population, including one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the country. After your tour around the park, you will be transferred to the Karatu Forest Tented Camp which will be your base for the next 2 nights. 7th Mar: Today you will leave the camp at around 0700hrs and head to the Ngorongoro crater for your game drive. The crater is not only the largest unbroken caldera in the world but it is also one of the new seven natural wonders of Africa. You will ascend to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater before descending down into the largest volcanic caldera in the world. The morning will be spent exploring the crater in search of Rhino s and the main packs of lions that inhabit the crater floor. After your morning game drive you will take a break to enjoy lunch at the Hippo Pool Picnic site before you continue with you afternoon game drive. In the early evening you will then be transferred back to the Karatu Camp. 8th Mar: You will depart the camp at around 07:30 and head to the Lake Manyara National Park for your final game drive. The park is renowned for its intriguing tree climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. After your tour around the beautiful lake and its surroundings you be transferred back to Kilimanjaro International Airport in the afternoon for your flight to Zanzibar. After your flight from Kilimanjaro you will be transferred to the Karafuu Beach Resort. 9th - 11th Mar: You have these days to take enjoy Zanzibar. You could take a tour to Stonetown or the Spice Plantations, take up some of the various activities offered at the resort or just kick back and soak up the sun. Breakfast included

5 12th Mar: After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your connecting flight back home. 13th Mar: Arrival back in the UK. Breakfast included Price: 195 Registration Fee Balance Payment NEED TO KNOW: Extension trips are subject to availability and usually have a minimum number of participants to operate. 6-months prior to departure, Really Wild Challenges will contact all participants who have opted for an extension trip. Should there not be enough participants; a full refund will be granted or a supplement can be paid. HOW TO SIGN-UP: Upon registration for the event, you will be asked to opt for the extension option. 195 will then be added to your registration balance.
